FAU was the drizzling poo last season in an amazingly bad Conference USA. So far this year both good teams they've played have skull drug them.
Kiffen might be an upgrade to the Chadster but that is like saying that genital gangrene is an upgrade from terminal cancer. True, but you don't really want either.
Either we should hire an older proven winner to drag us back to being decent, or we should go for a promising but unproven guy like Drinkwitz over at App. State. He's a young guy with some decent stops along the way (including coaching at Springdale HS) and he has a lot of ties to the area.

Can Arkansas afford to fire these guys? I know the low attendance numbers mean shite loads of lost revenue, but how would we pay for firing these guys? Isn't our program looking at damn near half a billion dollars worth of debt right now?

Did any of you Kiffin people follow college football last year? FAU took a second year nose dive and went 5-7, and look like shite again this year.
He’s also a smarmy a-hole who’s a terrible leader and couldn’t control his locker room at either Tennessee or USC. Hell, his players were literally brawling with each other in the locker room at the Sun Bowl, and his response was essentially “eh, I don’t know what to do.”
We’ve had enough gimmicky con man bullshite and social media theatrics with Bert and Morris. Kiffin would be that multiplied and amplified, and he’d leave the program in a terrible state.

I like the hell out of Anderson. He’s done a great job at ASU and knows this state. Great guy as well.
Big question is whether he even wants to take that next step now given his wife’s passing. Who knows, he may even decide to take a significant amount of time off, and nobody would blame him one bit for it. He’s got three kids (no idea how old they are) to single parent now.

Anderson hasn’t really done anything there that the coaches before him haven’t done. Lost to UCA a few years ago. No thanks. Winning 7-8 games a year in the sun belt isn’t exciting.
While we’re on the subject of coaches, I really thought our pass rush would be better. Maybe Bequette, Wise and Flowers made Caldwell look better than he is. I was really excited when he was brought back.
