As I’ve said for the past 3 years, we need a money guy. One who says we have X amount for 5 linemen, X for QB and X for Defensive Tackles but all money can be fudged for 5 star talent and performance.

DeBoar’s first hire when he took the Alabama job was a GM.

Thanks to the hole HY dug, you'll need a guy who can come up with a money ball strategy to catch up.

He just goes around setting up duck hunt, fishing and golfing experiences with the head coach.

Yeah baby. You get it. And the coach can have fun while he's at it. Players too. They need to earn that NIL. Work in some of those old Razorback legends too. Let them make a little on the side while helping the program. You give some of these guys a little attention and they'll open up the checkbook. You need people coordinating with every area of the state, just like politics, to get in them pockets. Many give just enough to get the seats they want and that's it. They are donating what most people would consider huge sums, but I'll bet HY and SP don't know who dafuq any of them are. You get a Barry Switzer type personality up there that befriends everyboday and the money will flow.

Very few under that age of 40 even get the reference. Most think it has to do with Walmart (it doesn't).

We’re ranked 3rd in the SEC and 55th in the nation for penalties per game

Seems like a worthwhile stat to track for all those “Pittman doesn’t coach discipline” fans. Inconvenient stat for those guys.

I wanted to revisit this worthwhile stat to track.

We're currently 100th in the country averaging 7.1 penalties a game ....

You're not going to win very many games with that against teams with similar or better talent.

Food for thought, how much of the defensive showing against Ole Miss could be contributed to Chris Paul transferring there?

I think most of it had to do with a beat up secondary and Clark being moved from safety to corner, from what I’ve heard. I like and appreciate Clark but he’s going to be picked on if he’s out there. Plus the lack of pressure on the qb just let him pick the secondary apart.

The positive from the game was Malik singlton’s(sp) performance in the second half. That’s pretty much it.

?

He didn’t know the offense so that wouldn’t have mattered much. Unless you are just talking about him balling out.

But he knew the definitely knew the Defensive schemes, coaching, etc for the Ole Miss offense to attack, right?

Still should not have been such a blow out. I think we may be reaching here.

When they run 4 verts and score every time to the same receiver, a blind man can pick that up. We can’t and didn’t.

Is a receiver if he makes it to the next level.
He is too damn tall. And can’t go through progressions.

They are great when they win, suck when we lose. Same as it ever was.

He’s damn sure better than anyone chad ever trotted out there. We’ve seen what bad looks like and he ain’t it.

Anyone else just really glad Arkansas isn't playing this weekend? It's a weird feeling

Two bye weekends suck, but also could be the greatest since we have basketball and you can do family things.
