Z posted a pic of he and Vitello…thinking he was seeing what kind of reaction he can get…Gonna be honest, I don’t think DVH wants to coach much longer.

That is what Arkansas deserves. Now we will see if this team will show some fight or fade away.

I think King once said if_______ happened, he'd jack off with motor oil. I can't remember what he said exactly, as far as the fill in the blank is concerned.

I only say that, to say that I echo his sentiments. If we ever got tFightinVitello, I'd crank my johnson rod with some Pennzoil also. Sorry, not sorry.

Texas hangs on 3-2 in Seattle to upset #13 seeded Washington.

Texas heads to Arkansas for the Super.

Saw that. As far as DVH, I'll wait and see if he makes some coaching changes at seasons end. If he doesn't, he done.

Why would he say "two of the most hated men in Arkansas "?

Not a chance. He'll retire when he's ready. People may grumble at Thompson being retained, but that'll be the extent of it.

Didn’t get a chance to watch Saturday, but it seems like they just gave up… is that true? I have never seen the baseball team give up, all other sports we have though.

Because he reads twitter and doesn’t talk to actual people?

Wait so the first time in 5 years we don’t host and you guys are wanting to fire dvh? Jesus Christ guys we sound like LSU fans with this nonsense. It’s not like we’re missing a regional or anything. We would probably be the best 2 seed in the tournament and still capable of making a run

This is the quote I was replying too. I wasn't suggesting firing DVH at all.

If he doesn't get rid of Hobbs and Thompson after the season is over I'll agree with hawgeye that DVH doesn't have the desire to coach much longer.

The players are playing uninspired baseball and that falls solely on the coaching staff. imo

It was like they all got drunk the night before and were hungover. They couldn’t do anything right. The bullpen was pretty stacked but whoever we put in shite the bed.

We’re still a top 5 team in Vegas’s eyes. The pressure is off now. Maybe they’ll finally come around.

get rid of Hobbs

Going into the Alabama series, I'm pretty sure we were Top 3 in the SEC in ERA. Our hitting, on the other hand, is abysmal.

I don’t get this. Our ace went down before the season and we’re still one of the better ERAs in the league.

Totally agree with getting rid of Thompson. Our approach at the plate has been terrible.

I agree. I think the pitching is pretty solid other than the meltdowns lately. I am still just so confused how every year we somehow get down to just using 3-4 bullpen guys and that’s it.

I think Hobbs has been serviceable this year, but our pen does not go very deep for what they were again saying in the off season. The fact DVH was still bringing in Ramage in this past series 3 days in a row is pretty telling that our pen sucks, outside of Tygart and Taylor. we have 3 iffy starters.

Its just time for a change on the staff for pitching and hitting. Players are not being developed for all of the hype and talent thought to have been brought in.

It's obvious that our pitchers aren't being developed. We don't have a pitcher on staff that's shown they can go 8 strong innings consistently.
We end up kobbling together 3-4 pitchers to finish out SEC games.

Hearing Thompson may be the front runner for the Kansas head coaching position

It has to be Hobbs' philosophy. I wouldn't say there hasn't been any development because it's clear guys like Wicklander, Kopps, Taylor, Noland, and Morris have improved but I don't understand why we refuse to give more pitchers a chance after a certain point in the season. Everyone should know trotting Ramage out for 3 games in a row just isn't going to work even if he was good for the first game.

I thought Austin Ledbetter showed promise then he went MIA. Mark Adamiak started midweeks and had ups and downs but still has an ERA under 4 yet never plays anymore even for just an inning.
