I’ll bet $1000 we get a 2-4 win Bert season next year.

What I’ve said all year long… and then someone comes out of nowhere to say but Briars didnt do the offense I like…
Which is a valid concern… but not what we were talking about.
Things that need improved:
Offensive Line
Quarterback (which will improve when OL does)
Defensive Line
Linebackers
Cornerbacks
Secondary

We need to put Hornsby fulltime at receiver or let him go and get a legit QB from the portal. Even if KJ comes back we need a QB that will push him. Hornsby and the true frosh coming in ain't that dude.

Pittman’s tenure is shaping up to be a carbon copy of Bert’s.
2020 = 2013 and 2014 rolled into one (3 win season, punched above our weight, looked more physical)
2021 = 2015 without the Toledo loss (another step forward, best team of the tenure)
2022 = 2016 (big step back, bunch of blown leads and losses due to bad coaching)
2023 = 2017 (we know what’s coming, none of us are excited)

SMU got a two year death penalty after Bobby Collins/Ron Meyer, and we got it by actually playing close games against Portland State/etc during our death penalty
the powers that be in this state always love that our stupid fricking fans never blame THEM for taking us backward 100 miles, they want the sheep to blame the next coach, and that's what happens
Petrino at any other program in spring 2012 would have been protected, but here there were too many butthurt power guys and butthurt media fagots to act like a what a real SEC program would have done
we reeled after that and the hot potato got tossed to Sam and now the powers that be can sit back on their fricking asses and watch Sam take the heat as they call fricking Malzahn or somebody and have phone sex with them
