Not sure I like messing with what’s worked all year but that would be fun. Don’t know who would come in if he gets in a late jam though.

NC state coach said on Friday night that Johnston was likely done for the weekend. Said he wasn't seeing it or something to that effect

Always been a DVH fan and supporter...I don’t like the decision to start Kopps and I feel like it’s not going to end well.
Sincerely hope I’m incorrect in my feelings and will gladly call myself a poon if it works out. Just want the W today.

I feel like DVH lost his mojo when he pulled Lockhart and then left Costeiu in after the first, then second home run. Then repeated the mistake pulling monke and going to Noland. Seems like he's grasping now, and it worries me that the team will feel the same. Hope I'm wrong but I'm well conditioned to disappointment with Razorbacks athletics.

Fully agreed... If Lockhart or Wicklander is available, then start one even if it's only for 1 or 2 innings, then bring in Wiggins, Monke or Noland to bridge to Kopps

I disagree. Kopps will shut them down and give our bats time to get going with no pressure. They would have feasted on Wiggins. That would have put pressure on our bats to make it up and we haven't shown that ability very much lately.
I think this is the right decision. Let Bolden, Zeb etc. clean up the ending. If our bats don't come through here it's on them.

While Kopps is great and has been put in many unusual situations this year. Starting is a slightly different ballgame than coming out of the bullpen. If he can get to the 3rd unruffled then we’ve got the usual Kopps on the mound dealing.

My point was we have 5-6 arms that we can cycle through in the final innings. Only one needs to stick.
Our bats have to go out there and win this. We just have to get them going. Putting Kopps out there to start gives them the best chance to do that.
It may turn out terribly but I like it going in.
