That's good news. I was worried it was his achilles when he first went down. Hopefully he'll be ready to go next week.

I mean, we see players tweet stuff like that no matter what the injury is. “I’m alright” is ambiguous and could just mean that he’ll be okay 3 months from now lol.

Rest him all weekend and let the training staff work on him and I’d think he’s back next weekend.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Goodheart or Welch get some time at 1B just in case he isn’t, though.

Bolden was bent over tieing his shoe and took at one-hop throw that got away from someone just below the eye so he had an ice pack on it and will likely have a black eye.

My gf is a physical therapist and loves reviewing injury tape. She is damn good at guessing what injury occurred. She is reviewing the footage

She is going with a grade 3 ankle sprain. Worst case he needs surgery to repair tendons. Best case he can run on it in maybe 2 weeks but not be 100%.
We will see how close she is given all she did was watch a video.
