Brohm, Morris, Frost or Norvell.

I like Norvell but still don't think his teams are physically tough enough, and a bit concnerned that he didn't build that team/program. I'd still take him over this shite though.

I really think Arkansas should bring Gus home. Auburn will let him go and he IS a good coach.

Outside of a freak 2013 he hasn't been any better than 8-5. What makes you think he'd do any better here?

Maybe the fact that he's already gotten us to 10 wins and an SEC West title? Make no mistake, I don't want Gus and I'm not a fan of his at all, but I'd take him if we can't get maybe 4-5 guys I'd rather have first. He's proven he can win here already. Anyone who thinks it was Nutt's idea to implement the Wild Hog that gave us that 06 season need their head checked.

He won a NC at Auburn as an OC. Bit different being the HC.

Auburn's NC was nothing but Cam Newton being a generational great. That said, he also got Auburn to the title game without Cam.

2006 with Gus at OC Arkansas was 10-4 (7-1) and played for an SEC title. 2007 without Gus with nearly an identical offense Arkansas was 8-5 (4-4).

I know a lot of people have good reasons for disliking the guy, and like I said before I'm not a fan of him either, but too many people are discrediting what he'd be able to do here. We could absolutely do worse than hiring Gus Malzahn.

I absolutely loathe Gus, but I agree with all of this.

Yeah I'm a fricking madman for having him as my 5th-6th option.

I felt it was a level headed post.

We strike out a frick ton on everyone else. I wouldn't be against it. He would derp and do some stupid shite like he does at auburn. I think he would recruit better than Bert. He knows what it takes to win in this conference. He actually can evaluate D linemen.

I'm pretty sure we actually scored more points in 2007 but the defense was a lot worse.

I don't think it would be the worst hire we could make but it wouldn't excite me either. I don't really like hiring coaches that other fanbases want fired or that other schools have fired (ive seen some mention Les Miles)
