On 247, they’re reporting that this is indeed an alternate but will probably be worn for all the home games. There is not a white version of the uniform currently.
The thing I didn't understand then and don't understand now is....why do we have Arkansas across the front for our home uni? Should say Razorbacks. My only minor complaint

Eh, that's all message board fodder right now. If the University wanted to clear it up, all they would have had to do is slap 'our new alternative jerseys' on the Tweet. I wouldn't be surprised if they were gauging fan reaction before making a permanent decision.
I'll hold out for an official clarification before I get too angry about it.

It’s being reported in multiple places that the university is locked in to a contract for two years with the current jersey with this upcoming season being the second. They want to change jerseys full time so they created the new home jersey as an “alternate” which the contract allows and will use it full time at home this season with the old road uniform still in use on the road. Once the current contract ends, they’ll create a white road version and these will become our permanent uniforms.

Who the hell signs that contract. We should wear what we want today. frick Nike. They also make us wear pumba hog.
Meanwhile the universal love for the uniforms of yore served as a big middle finger to the "tight", "fresh", "innovative", "updates" from Nike. Arkansas fans of all ages, regions, race, religions, second amendment support levels, and income wholeheartedly love this change to something we came up with back in the days when the only logo on a uniform was the SCHOOL LOGO. The apparel supplier logo was on a sweaty tag shoved in the crotch region of the pants. This is the era Arkansas fans prefer

If this doesnt show that Nike gives no fricks about designing uniforms, I dont know what would. What are we shelling out millions to Nike for exactly? Someone in Beaverton literally opened up Photoshop, took the erase tool to the Adidas logo and replaced it with a swoosh. After all that amazing effort,we still can't get the matching white road jerseys next season becuase of a contract technicality?? GFY, Nike and whoever we had that agreed to this shite.

We are nikes whore. We pay for the "privilege" of wearing our non-nike designed uniforms at home, and they pimp us out, against our will, on the road to help them advertise their design we don't even want

Oh I'm pleased as hell we're going back to this look. Just typical dumbassery that we'll look like a whole other team on the road with unis that share nothing in common with this actual Arkansas jersey
