But this is why I did not want him here. State will have problems going forward and it will put them behind us again.

Leach in the media amplified SEC is going to be a spectacular train wreck.

Leach is Bielema with a better mind for offense.

Dude routinely puts his foot in his mouth and tweets dumb and/or political shite. And similar to Bielema - the media loves Leach. Mike Irwin was on a one man campaign to get Leach hired here. Irwin would get in arguments with anyone who brought up any flaw. Irwin is still defending him today. Why? Because it makes his job easier. You can always rely on ol Leach to provide a sound bite about who would win in a fight between Abraham Lincoln and Superman.

All that nonsense is quirky and endearing when you are winning. It’s also not a big deal when you say dumb shite in Lubbock, Texas or Pullman, Washington. Leach is in the SEC now. Everything he says/tweets will be cut up, repeated, and used against him in recruiting. He is in a state with a hated rival who will take any missteps and amplify them to make you look horrible.

The tweet might have not be racist but it was dumb. Just like #karma was dumb..... the Bielema quote about death certificates was dumb ....... and Bielema telling Texas high school coaches that their offenses suck was idiotic.

It’s funny how athletic departments tell the players to keep their social media clean and to focus on their respective sport - but some coaches can’t follow those same principles.

It was either go to Starkville or stay in Pullman.

I've never been to Pullman, but it must be the worst place on earth...

Wonder if da Guvna will have to take classes with Leach:

Gov. Tate Reeves Proclaimed ‘Confederate Heritage Month’ on April 3

Tate does fit the stigma perfect:

If we're not picked last in 2020 it's only because we'll be picked last when we actually play the season in spring 2021.

Beyond his apology, Leach will participate in more listening sessions with students, alumni and community groups to provide the head coach with his cultural awareness of Mississippi. One of those opportunities included a guided trip through the Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum — as soon as restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic are lifted.

So dumb.

I wish people, in positions of power, would just say "oh frick off"

Stop caving to these lunatics.

Yep. So many folks cave to the Twitter mob immediately when you really just have to weather the storm for a few days and the. they’ll move on to their next supposed atrocity.
