Per Footballscoop and 247

Traylor as Head Coach
Morris as OC

quote:

AUBURN, Alabama – Auburn has targeted Chad Morris to fill its offensive coordinator position, sources tell Auburn Undercover. The former Arkansas head coach is the leading candidate to replace Kenny Dillingham, who left for the same position at Florida State on Monday. Auburn is expected to hire Dillingham's successor this week, sources tell Auburn Undercover.

Offset that Chad buyout, it will be just a little knitting circle of Arkansas hate in that coaches room.

He will drop 50-60 on us next year.

So fitting.

Wow. Of course Gus would extend an Olive Branch to him.

No way. He’ll thrive there as he’s a legit play caller with talent. His issue was refusing to take over from Craddock.

Good for Traylor. Hearing BLJ will be moving on as well. Supposedly, he's very upset he didn't get the head gig.

He's coming for our recruits and our current players. Gus doesn't need him as an offensive coordinator. Wouldn't hurt him to have Chandler as his next QB either I bet.

He won’t call plays. It’ll be the same stuff from Gus

What current players would want to go play for Chaggy again? I'm not sure that any of the commits Morris had before he was fired would be high on Auburns want list. Recruiting isn't an issue for the Aubies.

Chandler ain't beating out Nix for the next 3 years.

BLJ needs to move on so he can further his career. Maybe have to take a step down to coach QBs or even OC at a smaller school and then work back up unless he can find a small program to hire him as HC. Good luck to him. He's always been come across as a pretty good guy so hopefully a good opportunity is out there for him.

I mean he went 0-2 in his two games and has zero qualifications to be a head guy at this level, how could he possibly be upset

Nope he did take back over play calling and failed missearbly. He's off the rails and has completely lost touch. I refuse to believe he is competent at all. Name one fricking play Chad called over the past two years that was a "good" play call. Find me one, and I would shite my pants.I wish him nothing but the worst. I am AMAZED anyone gave him an OC job at all. Gus is going to have to fire the fricking idiot 6 games in, after they start 3-3 and look horrendous. I can already feel it.

It's all about his recruiting.

He just gave Auburn the keys to Texas.

Just like he did Clemson. dabo was on the verge of failure until Morris taught him how to recruit.
