When he picks his shots we are an offensive nightmare. LSU took advantage of his ball dominance today( also turnovers inside killed us)

I wouldn't read too much into it, this is the first game against a decent team without Williams and it seems to have a similar effect as to when we lost Smith.

Was a bad game. It happens.

TOs and FTs lost the game along with not getting clutch defensive stops.

Notae didn’t help but he didn’t lose the game. Has a huge steal to almost tie it.

And he won the Mizzou game for us almost single handedly.

Davis and Smith were worse down the stretch IMO. Moody wasn’t great either and missed FTs he makes.

One of those games.

Honestly I haven’t noticed any correlation between how good his shot selection is and how productive he is. I think he’s better shooting off the dribble than he is in catch and shoot situations. Mason Jones was like that too but he was a better shooter all around.

We have no replacement for him. Vanover is a liability on the defensive end and Henderson is one on the offensive end. They open everything up.

How many under the basket passes on offense resulted in 0 points and a turnover. I remember at least 4 or 5.

After the first 10 minutes, it was just sloppy shitty basketball all around and they still almost won.

Muss apparently said in the post presser that they were out of gas. I thought that was obvious down the stretch. When they were fresh, they were on fire early. But once their legs went, it was over.

I'd rather have an extra day of rest for the tourney than win the SEC tournament then lose in Rd 1.

We’re not losing in round 1.

This was a good scenario. We didn’t have a whole lot to gain.

We need rest, preparation and watch some bad film.

Yeah Smith had a bad game too, besides the blown dunk, he had several give aways under the rim. This game was a wake up call to the team. I think they will be ready for the big tournament next week.

We lost that game due to missed free throws and unusually bad (for us) turnovers. Smith especially just seemed rattled for about half the game. Several extra inside passes that got deflected and stolen.

Not our best game. Thankfully won’t matter and a little bitter taste from a loss is not bad for the motivation meter.

I was happy we beat mizzou with Tilman to be honest. We have nowhere near the overall athletes that LSU has purchased, but they have nowhere near our coach.

We will do well....but we aren’t going to win it all this year. Give him a few recruiting classes at least!

The team really did look gassed down the stretch but I don't really know why they should have been.

2 tough defensive games in a 24 hour period with a bench effectively 1 deep.

No help in the post to relieve henderson, so tons of minutes with a 4 guard line up. Disappointing production and minute from desi and tate left the guards playing long stretches, etc.

I agree with Dale.

I'm worried :).

We really did get a shitty draw. UGA or Ole Miss would have been much more ideal in at least one do those games.

People forget Mizzou was top 10 and beat 3-4 top 15 teams this year.
