Alabama under Saban has no reason to cheat on the field when they have dominated the SEC to the point that it is so pathetic because no one challenges them. They have cheated and will cheat when they go into a decline because the fans are batshit crazy and want Bear Bryant/Nick Saban like results for eternity when it is not remotely possible. We never had a controversial game with Alabama because they either stomp us or we give the game away to them as in 2007,2010 or 2014.
Alabama and the rest of the SEC consider Arkansas to be irrelevant in football. It is hard for them to cheat and take us seriously when we have an all time losing SEC record.
In order for the SEC to have bias against you, a team has to be relevant and a pain in the arse. Instead we haven't done shite except get our asses kicked and so our reputation is slightly above the Mississippi schools.
The Florida game is terrible officiating but that doesn't mean it was cheating. If you want to see cheating then you have to go back to the 80s SWC for how bias Texas politics was against Arkansas. The 1982 SMU game is a perfect example. They were because we were much more relevant and a threat to the SWC.
Yet we have some fans that are willing to crawl under the thumb of Texas again and want to relive the SWC 2.0 in the Big 12. Fans will still bitch because Texas will cheat us just like in the old days. No thanks.
The best we can do is take football more seriously and build the program to a much better status and respect from the rest of the SEC. While doing so file complaints to the SEC office when it happens again in future games. Get other SEC members involved that are having the same problems with the officiating. The more schools complain and get involved, the more likely changes are to be done. Besides that no much else we can do.

Yet another token, worthless tweet by HY claiming support followed by absolutely nothing that moves the needle.
He’s apparently perfectly fine taking the SEC check win or lose, and will do the minimum necessary to try and convince the naive he’s doing something about the repeated screw-jobs the football team is subjected to.
Or he’s utterly inept when it comes to influencing Sankey in anything involving the SEC’s cash-cow sport.
Either way more and more people are asking when leadership will actually step up and represent the program instead of the SEC for a change.

Catalon does deserve better, and he apparently won’t be getting it.
I guess you’re in the camp that leadership should sit back and repeatedly take it, and fans should be content knowing there’s nothing to be done.

Yes standing up for ourselves is fine but the problem is the SEC office isn't really going to accomplish much by replacing incompetent refs with new incompetent refs. That isn't good enough.
It is going to take more than Arkansas complaining for things to change. The other 12 members need to step up and do something and force the issue. Arkansas going solo is a losing battle.
