I don't believe in conspiracy theories concerning the refs and the SEC office doesn't give two shits a bout Arkansas because we are not a threat in football or to them.

The 4th and 25 wouldn't happen because Bama would still win by double digits
You know exactly what I meant when I threw Bamas name in there. We got the right call on that play because Ole miss doesn’t carry as much weight as other teams.

Beyond that how can you not have a slight belief in official bias after the 2009 Florida game?

re: Is Yurachek going to stand up for this team or not
Alabama under Saban has no reason to cheat on the field when they have dominated the SEC to the point that it is so pathetic because no one challenges them. They have cheated and will cheat when they go into a decline because the fans are bat shite crazy and want Bear Bryant/Nick Saban like results for eternity when it is not remotely possible. We never had a controversial game with Alabama because they either stomp us or we give the game away to them as in 2007,2010 or 2014.

Alabama and the rest of the SEC consider Arkansas to be irrelevant in football. It is hard for them to cheat and take us seriously when we have an all time losing SEC record.

In order for the SEC to have bias against you, a team has to be relevant and a pain in the ass. Instead we haven't done shite except get our asses kicked and so our reputation is slightly above the Mississippi schools.

The Florida game is terrible officiating but that doesn't mean it was cheating. If you want to see cheating then you have to go back to the 80s SWC for how bias Texas politics was against Arkansas. The 1982 SMU game is a perfect example. They were because we were much more relevant and a threat to the SWC.

Yet we have some fans that are willing to crawl under the thumb of Texas again and want to relive the SWC 2.0 in the Big 12. Fans will still bitch because Texas will cheat us just like in the old days. No thanks.

The best we can do is take football more seriously and build the program to a much better status and respect from the rest of the SEC. While doing so file complaints to the SEC office when it happens again in future games. Get other SEC members involved that are having the same problems with the officiating. The more schools complain and get involved, the more likely changes are to be done. Besides that no much else we can do.

I don't see it as a conspiracy that the SEC is after Arkansas. I just see major incompetence by the refs who don't have the reflexes nor the quick decision making to call SEC games correctly.

This. They are just terrible. Even if they do cheat they aren't worried about doing it to us and if they did there is still nothing we could do about it. Laughable that people think crawling back to Texas is an option. Never. We need to become a respectable program again before anyone would give a shite about us getting screwed anyway.

Here’s the SEC number in Birmingham.
205.949.8960

Call em. Tell them your a Bama booster and think Catalon should play.

Yet another token, worthless tweet by HY claiming support followed by absolutely nothing that moves the needle.

He’s apparently perfectly fine taking the SEC check win or lose, and will do the minimum necessary to try and convince the naive he’s doing something about the repeated screw-jobs the football team is subjected to.

Or he’s utterly inept when it comes to influencing Sankey in anything involving the SEC’s cash-cow sport.

Either way more and more people are asking when leadership will actually step up and represent the program instead of the SEC for a change.

What the frick are you even whining about? All he's tweeted about since your last bitchfest is the women's soccer team, a food drive, and announcing we aren't playing Mizzou Saturday because most of our team is quarantining... Is that why you're mad? Because our team isn't healthy?

Dude really?

quote:

but I will work with the appropriate SEC Officials to make sure that this “targeting” call does not cost Jalen Catalon our next game. My student-athletes deserve better.

Guess what - Jalen still has to deal withthe knowledge that he’s been kicked out of two games (and knowing better than anyone the last ejection was bullshite), and the SEC won’t be changing their screwjobimeanruling.

Catalon does deserve better, and he apparently won’t be getting it.

I guess you’re in the camp that leadership should sit back and repeatedly take it, and fans should be content knowing there’s nothing to be done.

re: Is Yurachek going to stand up for this team or not
Nothing in the SEC concerning us with bad calls comes close to this.

SWC cheating

That call gave SMU a first down which SMU tied the game with a field goal. That call not only cost us the game with a tie but the SWC title.

Absolute hell was raised in Fayetteville and the rest of the state. The head ref of that game was fired after the season.

Human error is one thing but obvious cheating is another and the SMU game was a good example of that.

When we have a game that is beyond a reasonable doubt that cheating in a game occurred then it will be time we let the voices be heard. Assuming and alleged this and that will not work.

If razorback fans want to go back under the thumb of Texas and experience the cheating once again then I have nothing to say. You know that Texas will always cheat Arkansas and that is the biggest reason we left. Why repeat history again?

Uh, you’re implying I would be in favor of moving to the B12?

frick the B12, and frick Texas. We don’t need to go anywhere.
We need to stand up for ourselves where we’re at.

No reason Arkansas shouldn’t expect and experience parity in officiating... other than the lack of willpower to demand it.

re: Is Yurachek going to stand up for this team or not
No but some hog fans believe the Big 12 would be so much better and fair.

Yes standing up for ourselves is fine but the problem is the SEC office isn't really going to accomplish much by replacing incompetent refs with new incompetent refs. That isn't good enough.

It is going to take more than Arkansas complaining for things to change. The other 12 members need to step up and do something and force the issue. Arkansas going solo is a losing battle.
