Is the Battle Line Rivalry becoming a much anticipated game?

I was remembering the words of our late athletic director speaking about this rivalry when it started, noting things such as it was “much anticipated” and a “budding rivalry.” LINK
So is this rivalry living up to its hype and may we reasonably expect a packed stadium for this one? Seems to me it is just another SEC game which we will likely lose.

It is the 2nd most highly anticipated game for us this season. For all of the wrong reasons of course.

Doesn't mean anything special to me except another chance for a win. And even that is not going to mean a whole lot this year.

Anything related to Missouri is just still weird. Maybe it will become something for the kids who are currently enrolled. Not sure.
I don't foresee me or anybody else over the age of 25 ever feeling anything remotely towards Mizzou as I do towards LSU or Ole Miss.
If they put Mizzou in the west, the importance would go up considerably.

It's more of a basketball rivalry than football.

That’s the way I feel. Really not much history or hate in the way of football but basketball is a different story with some of the games we’ve had over the years (not just recently), Norm & Nolan, Suitcase Mike, etc.

I mean, look at those dudes... that's Mizzou/Missouri's finest right there. They still have their pre-meth fat, you can tell they haven't been addicted long. (maybe they're out of state students?)

The mizzou game just pisses me off cuz we’ve lost every damn time and shouldn’t have lost even once.
