Umm yea there is more reason.
He signed with LeBrons group and they’re telling him not to play.
Read between the lines a little bit with what muss has said. There’s obviously more to it than a “we’re monitoring his injury” situation.

I'm interpreting Muss' cageyness as caution . If he plays NSJ too early and Nick aggravates a minor injury, it'll kill his credibility with top draft prospects. Same happens if he promises a return and healing doesn't happen in time

He signed with Lebrons group in the spring. Not last week. He has played in what - 4? Meaningless exhibition games since being signed with them.
So clearly they are not telling him not to play at all. They may be telling him to be cautious with an injury, which is totally fine with me as it’s probably in our best interest right now as well.
Even that much is just pure speculation as it could easily be just a decision between the staff and NSJ
