We’ve never been a Porsche. We were a used Lexus in good condition right before Bobby left. He then hit us with his motorcycle and we weren’t insured so we had to settle for being a yugo for a while. We’re gonna be a chadillac here when the factory starts producing again.

^ cheesiest thing I’ve written all day.

Let me help you... you said Smile was left with...

My lord man, go look at what he was left with... look at the attrition rates of the players Petrino recruited.

FIne, it was a Porsche with a 4 cylinder without turbo. Better?

Comparing our program to a car is ... well, out of gas with blowouts, battery dead, in a wreck without the airbag deploying.

We were, and are a wreck... but hopefully being salvaged

I wish I could find the ESPN guys saying that team Smiley got was a Ferrari. It definitely should’ve faired better than it did, pre-season Top 5 ranking and there wasn’t all these holes I keep hearing about. Now after that season, we were Swiss cheese. I’m dying to know who the staff is for sure but I’m not gonna crucify Morris until I see the results on the field first. Even then, I’ll give him 2-3 years to show me unless it’s just ridiculously obvious he’s not gonna work.

It's the dead period right now. Announcing a D.C. might make our fans happy, but does almost nothing in terms of recruiting right now. As far as Morris, I think most the fan base is in wait and see mode. He did come in talking a big game, but so did our last coach. If we blow out cupcakes to start the season, I may get a semi.

Bielema being fired is still stinging him, he'll be fine.

To be fair, Bret’s recruiting rankings were better than pretty much any coach we’ve had in the modern era. Dude just could not develop SEC players.

Oh he was definitely the best we've had in the rankings era, he was also consistent.

However, his first class was stacked with the contributors in his time here same with Petrino.

It'll be interesting to see if the wheels fall off of Louisville next season, it has the prior two times for year 5 Petrino rosters. Basically Bob will prove or disprove if his coaching prowess can over take his shitty recruiting. They already dropped off big time this past season.

Basically what I was saying is previously the new HCs landing players who weren't interested or were coming here under the prior HC, Petrino landed the warrren kids, Wilson, and Mallett. Bert snagged Collins. Chad hasn't brought in a "wow" recruit and likely won't this year.
