So based on the last few pages, Mike's seat isn't just hot, there's smoke coming from it.

Lol, nah. It's just one bad season, it happens. Luckily Jeff Long is a lot smarter than most of our fans.

pitchforks and torches always come out with a bad loss. By our next win people will be excited about the jucos and ready to give anderson another half a decade to make the ncaa tournament.

The last 3 games have been a great example of what not to do as a basketball program. No adjustments, fundamental breakdowns and a lack of on-court talent that has to be the fault of poor recruiting. I'm willing to give MA a year to fix it but if there isn't marked improvement next season it will be time to move on.

It would be a little easier to tolerate if Anderson seemed like he had any sense of urgency or disappointment but he always sounds perfectly content with the way things are going.

I believe the going to retort to this would be that he's stabilizing us and no one else will care more about bringing back razorback basketball or can. We can't get calipari so why bother searching for a coach. We've got our guy.

The program is bigger than three games, or one bad season. I've seen people getting this confused a lot lately. They'll say Mike is destroying the "program" when it's really just one bad year. The people who are freaking out are stupid and short sighted.

I'm not freaking out but I am worried that we are depending so heavily on Jucos next year. Bringing in a bunch of Jucos the first couple of years to jump start recruiting is great. Depending on them to carry your team after 5 years on the job means you're not recruiting well.

We lose Bell, Durham, Kouassi, and Miles after this season and possibly Kingsley.
Then after next season we lose Hannahs and Kingsley and Watkins and all these Jucos we're bringing in.

Or, perhaps, maybe LAST year was the aberration.

Been in Chicago for work...

That was dog shite. Truly inexcusable. Our defense really has been completely shitty his entire tenure.

have been an MA fan, however with the recruiting lacking, (Juco, you talkn bout Juck's), continual rebuilding... Pitiful assistants, and the win/loss totals

He needs to feel the heat.. JMHO of course

and for Stonehog's benefit.

Paraphrased.

"I completely support MA he is the best coach for the job period, he will get it done, he just needs more time, the rebuild takes more time than it used too, he isn't paid enough, we are behind on facilities to help in recruiting, LEAVE HIM ALON@"

i would like him to feel the heat mainly because he needs to get better assistants and I don't think there is anyway he will do that on his own.

I wish mike would succeed and hopefully next season we go to the big dance. I'm not overly optomistic about that though as it requires basically everything to go just right and that's just not our universities or MA's MO right now.

anyone hear what TJ Carpenter said about CMA on the radio?

that the major problems are that MA is lazy (complacent) and that the coaching staff doesn't scout the opposing teams at all to prepare for games, so we're not taking advantage of things that would help us win more. He also said he hoped that Mizzou would beat us this weekend to wake up the PTB and wake up MA and the staff.

How would TJ know what's going on inside the Arkansas locker room?

Perhaps he was the product on the floor... the lack of coaching... the fact the there were several times that 3 players, and sometimes 4 were all together in one area of the court while another 3 pointer was drilled from freaking pluto.

HeckifIknow... but it still begs the question to be answered. MA has had the time to recruit out of the hole left for him.. right?

BTW bro. I know I responded to you, but the truth is that today I am agitated by other things and decided to just vent my frustrations on our pathetic excuse for Hawg Ball... 40 mins of what the.....

Basketball isn't football quite few coaches don't really scout other teams they focus on playing their game caliper Ipi has said this

There are only so many offenses most teams run motion
