dude, I would have fired him already and begin moving on...

I agree, and most likely this will change soon as the season continues the downward toiled spiral. But....

I've heard that if we don't get an SEC win he's done, period. That will be THE cause of his undoing, as it becomes indefensible at that point.

There's a LOT of unhappy people both within the admin and major donor pool that have Yurachek's ear. If there's people that want him to stay (in the event we go winless) they would be a very small minority, everybody is on the same page.

The only thing I haven't heard is how Yurachek feels about any of this, or his response.

Perhaps this is why we are starting to see decommitments? Interesting the one today has a lot of Tenn fan hope. They really aren't much better than us.

I don't know, guys. Look, this is a thing on the internet at the moment.

I think they should fire him. But that's easy for me to say. If it were me I would probably start making phone calls and proceeding as if I intended to pull the plug at the end of the year and I would be hoping to hell he proves me wrong and gives me reason not to.

They want to be able to keep him 1-2 more seasons for several reasons.
1. They love his recruiting ties to Texas
2. He is the anti-Petrino/CBB type. One was a control freak and the other didn't give a crap towards the end. CCM listens, talks, wins people over during conversations.
3. Boosters supported this hire who do not want to swallow their pride or pay again this soon.
4. In speaking with CCM's past co-workers, coaches, and those who hired him previously... they believe he still knows what he is doing in the long term.

I am being told another year is pretty much a given as well unless we go winless.. FWIW!

God I hate our program, donors, administration and fans so much. Every one of these points, if true, is the unfathomably stupid bullshite I've ever heard.

1. A ton of coaches have Texas recruiting ties. This is an absurd reason to cling to a godawful losing coach. Plus, our recruiting sucks right now.
2. This just proves my point that our donors care much more about access than winning. Saban and Meyer are control freaks. So the hell what?
3. Case in point about being megalomaniacal, overly prideful dumbasses.
4. Again, yet more proof that our big money donor cadre is fricking horrendously stupid. They hired this dumbass on the recommendation of Gus fricking Malzahn, because of course an SEC West rival coach with an ax to grind against our program has our best interests at heart right? Also, using Chad's former coworkers' thoughts on him as a barometer for gauging his abilities is stupid. He's a nice guy who wins people over. Petrino was hated by those with whom he worked but he won. That's what matters.
