I was embarrassed by the entitlement shown today.

I get it, you think you "deserved" a bigger opponent.
You think you "deserve" night games so you can get blacked out drunk on the golf course before hand.
You think you "deserve" 3 games at WMS, 2 SEC opponents, Bama and LSU every other year for sure.
You know what the program and team deserves?
They deserve to be playing in front of 54,120 when playing in that stadium, this hasn't been the case for several years now.
When they travel to Little Rock once a year, they deserve to play in front of a 54,120 crowd that stays the entirety of the game, not leave at half time to get back to getting blitzed on the golf course.
The TV audience deserves the games to be played where a simple task like being able to broadcast the mic of the ref is possible, a fully function play clock is possible, the field surface doesn't look like a surface that has been abused by high school teams on the reg.
It was a truly shameful display today.
What the entitled are going to find out is they will get exactly what they deserve when the contract negotiations come up in the next couple years, your sense of entitlement is only making it easier for a decision to be made that you will find is not in your favor... unless you like to make long drives Saturday mornings, then you're going to love the decision.

Why is this even brought up? Everyone knows they won't be playing there anymore in a couple of years or sooner.

Actually it was being heavily considered to keep one game a year there for 5 more years, usually a low-major fcs opponent especially if it the opponent could be played on historically weak attendance days (opening day of modern gun season for example).
The schedule the past few years and today were to gauge interest, low name SEC (OM), Mid Major, FCS. The attendance numbers and support has shown LR just isn't interested in watching college football being played in their town.

Eh, I would like to see a link on that. It has been fairly clear that they are trying to pull out of LR all together.
For the record I really don't care either way but this debate is pointless and has been for a couple of years now.

UALR may get a nice facility upgrade again over this...

Blah blah. The crowd for the first game in Fay was BAD. I saw people leaving after La Tech scored in the 4th quarter in a CLOSE game.

Dale, has anybody ever told you that you are an a-hole?
Oh, they haven't? Consider it just now done then.

Blah blah Texas State was a sellout and so are Bama, LSU, and Florida

I didn't realize we did GSD round these parts, but I'll bite. I lived in LR straight out of college and loved games being there. Also, being from SouthArk, I loved being able to drive up quick for a game. All that being said, we have zero business having games played there. It's dumb on so many levels that it's not even worth having a conversation over.

Difference is when your drunk you fall forward one yard.
