I want to come out in a wishbone with KJ and Hornsby doing option magic.

I'm not a coach, but I'm really good at football videogames.

Discuss.

I would stick Hornsby under center and KJ the trail man.

MH needs to touch the ball more than once. Unacceptable

Either one would also have the option to throw a forward pass. I don't know how you would coach for it.

I don't think we're showing that yet.

I think Sam is keeping that in his back pocket. Hornsby is way too good to be sitting.

We should combine forces. No one could stop us. They would never know what was coming next

I think the double pass package is fine. We just need to actually use it. We got a first down with it then just never touched it again. I don't get it.

Hornsby came back for a reason. I think will see a lot more of him.

The game was close, but we always seemed in control. I bet we see Hornsby a bit more week 3 and 4.

I agree. Definitely thought we'd see a little more of it today, though. They may be wanting to tighten a few screws before going crazy with it. Pass protection in general was pretty bad.

That was the biggest negative that stuck out to me on the offensive side of the ball.

KJ rarely if ever seemed to have a clean pocket. There were too many plays where he was running for his life with zero time to progress through any of his reads.

KJ is light years better than Hornsby and needs to be the one taking snaps. He pushed forward to win the game on his runs

I've never seen people love on a QB2 with a QB1 this good before

However you do it, Hornsby needs the ball in his hands in just a little space.

I don't understand how you can watch Hornsby play and not think he needs to be touching the ball more in some capacity. The fact that he can throw is just an added plus.

No one is saying bench KJ for Hornsby.

You clearly didn't read the op real good. KJ is the man.

I'm talking about a specific package. You can't convince me Sam doesn't have some Hornsby shite up his sleeve.

The play they called to Hornsby, he missed the guy streaking down the field open. He tucked it too soon, but he’s a dynamic runner so anytime the ball is in hands, he’s an X factor

It's hard to tell from watching replay but they did have someone deep so maybe he didn't chance it? Not disagreeing with you though. I think he gets more touches this year. Maybe an agreement was made to get him back out of the portal?

Nope, the safety on that side froze when Hornsby caught the swing pass, and Haselwood ran right by him on the wheel route and was wide open. The free safety had Dubinion covered.
