Cheap message board validation ? Wait, I said firing Petrino was a mistake. I hated Bert from day one and wanted Norvell over Chad. Love me. Validate me. I'm a message board genius !! I need those plus ones to continue living. And please make me a mod so I can go around dropping the ban hammer on anyone who doesn't eat my arse out on the reg. Only my friends can badmouth players and other posters.
I love it. Message board validation. Arkansas fans really are some twisted mother frickers. But years of having to deal with the right winged nut jobbers and the incompetent, senile rich frickers running shite into the ground here, is enough to twist anyone.

Why in the world can we not disagree without such disparagement between fans.
Bc in the real world people don't give a shite about your feelings. Maybe grow up or go to tardville along with the rest of the Nancy boy mother frickers.
The Arkansas situation hasn't changed since Bobby left. Coach after coach makes excuses about youth and rebuilding. Is that a problem for Morris ? Sure it is. But when you come in with a crappy record and in two years obviously struggle with player evaluation. Then its hard to believe in the coach.
Our only hope is that HY is better at evaluating coaches then Chad is with evaluating QB's.

Dude, my "feelings" aren't a problem here. But I have one question. At what date did the world decide that common decency and speaking intellectually with composure was no longer the norm. As if all IQ is gone and what is left is ranting stupendously, without letting another human being have a differing opinion.
I understand the Arkansas situation absolutely sucks, season ticket holder (not a subtle brag, for I am an idiot to continue financially supporting what is happening) however, it is just football. a game, not the value of life.

This is a fair point.
Latarian's little rant triggered me somewhat.
You literally cannot talk sense into some people. Their sense of logic is that of a junior high kid, so I resort to that type of language in hopes that they may actually understand it.
The truth is, Im pissed at the administration for firing Petrino and hiring this clown, and watching people try to justify them, Chad, and this entire situation is nauseating. I feel they deserve some criticism.

Where we disagree, Petrino had to go period. It was a legal decision based on hiring his mistress who wasn't qualified for a position that had to be advertised and much more qualified people applied. When it was made public knowledge that she was one of the swimming coaches fiancé, and she had no qualifications, and was sleeping with BP... it was over. The attorneys got involved to salvage several lawsuits from occurring, the press, as much as possible.
Now, on Chad Morris... I knew so little that I didn't feel really one way over another. Underwhelmed overall. But thus far, he is in over his head. Again, we would owe what? 12 million to let him go "without cause". IDK man, we are on a lonely football island of purgatory and without a SOS signal, or savior in sight. Especially if he cant get this done. Hang in there... it cant get worse.

I wasn't signaling you out fyi. But just so you know yes its only football. But the world isn't a place for the weak. Now you may be seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and all that other shite. And thats awesome. But while you are here on earth you have to deal with things like they are. Freedom of speech is a beautiful thing. And any time someone takes that away from you. Even on a private message board. Then something awesome has been lost. Message boards that moderate with a heavy hand are a joke. I'd rather be somewhere where posters have the freedom to insult me. Like the little xanax thing. It was funny.
Cursing or not cursing has nothing to do with intelligent or decency. Maybe in your limited point of view. But not everyone grew up in and chooses to remain in a sheltered unrealistic environment. BTW I fricking love Jesus. He's the man. And you are 1000 percent wrong. Petrino did NOT have to go. That was a unilateral decision by a power hungry piece of shite AD who like you was delicate and overly sensitive. I suspect Bobbys cursing really ruined his day.

You saw what happened to Petrino at Louisville right? His players fricking hated him and quit on him. Why would that be any different here?

Dude, I did mission work in Boston I definitively know what cursing can do, and how definitively lacking in cognitive ability it was in those people. You can express yourself with much more candor without such language, if you choose too. Most people would take folks more seriously, without such base actions. This isn't to you in particular, just my view.
as for being 1000% wrong, my wife agrees often with this deduction. lol... I still think he had to go, but even if he didn't, his days were numbered with his recruiting (Lack thereof) and the attrition of players (Was huge he last two years). It doesn't help to get 4 Stars, if they leave because your such an arse.

I'm not gonna chime in on most of this, but does it really take being a "Chaggot" to realize that going for Head Coach #3 in 4 years is an awful idea pretty much regardless of how this season goes? That's a great way to torch recruiting and setback a rebuild even further. You at least let the coach get most of the roster filled out for the next guy when he's recruiting like Morris is.
That's not even mentioning the buyout. Year 2's start doesn't have me thrilled with Chad, but I don't think people realize the hole you dig your program into by sorting through coaches rapidfire like some are wanting. That's how you make sure no one wants your job.

By your logic, Saban should be fired because he failed in Miami

I never advocated for him to be fired. He should have never been hired. Big difference

that ship has sailed, so what do you propose now? Completely craping on everything about him/his program isn't really making a difference in any tangible way, or is it?
He is here period for the immediate future (2 years probably)… I would guess, regardless of outcomes.
Well, unless attendance and sales continue to lag.

The internet is fricking bullshite. It isn't a place to convince anybody of anything. It is a place to echo and spout nonsense.
Nobody is ever going to say, "Yes, I thought Morris was a clown but you convinced me I am wrong" or "Petrino isn't the scumbag I thought because of what you said".

I think we should make a pact when someone starts a thread with ‘I told you so’, and that someone is a constant spewer of negativity anyway, that we ignore him. Because I feel certain his snarky arse is reading this thread smiling because he got exactly what he wanted.
We all know that none of us were doing cart wheels at the hire.

I believe after the initial reaction of "who?" we were cautiously optimistic that he'd rebuild recruiting ties to Texas High Schools. Which is the one thing he seems to be doing. Other then that most of us were a bit underwhelmed.
Most of us were looking at everyone but Chad Morris during the coaching search, I think Feral was the first one to put him on our radar as I recall and that was only a couple of days before he got the job.

Maybe but we all have moments of frustration, griping- and absolutely rightfully so but that dude's been a sour bitch since his first post.
