You don't have a legit 4 and guard play won't get you to the sweet 16.
Last time the Hogs sniffed the sweet 16, 1996

Basketball is all about guard play, pro and college.
Nothing has changed from before the season, team will go as far as Barford and Macon can take it. Likely 2nd round again.

If we depend on the Jucos, we're fricked.
We suck at rebounding.
Carry on with the love for MA.

I think we’ll make it farther than 2nd round of the NIT. Home advantage gives us that.

Not really, been dominating the boards the last few games. Kentucky has size no other team can match so not an Arkansas only thing there.

How is that any different than playing the biggest team in the nation?

Not sure why this gets downvoted, after we lose to Bama we're gonna be puckered up against Auburn and could easily lose out

Not sure why you only show up after a loss.

Been disappointed with our bench players this year.

MA is a lot like Bert. He beats the teams he should beat and can't beat the good teams. He makes questionable in game coaching/sub decisions. He just doesn't eat the whole buffet at the Golden Corral.

However, I've been told by many on this board that this is the peak of what we can expect out of the basketball program.

Bert lost to fricking Toledo, not a comparison at all. Mike has peaked in his coaching career at Arkansas. Like Bert he's to damn stubborn to adjust to today's game. Mike can't win the big game, after 7 years Mike is just Mike.
Doubt he really gives a shite anymore while he's padding his bank account.

That Houston team is ahead of us in RPI. Not saying we should have lost by 35 or whatever we did, but they’re not a bad team. And the loss to LSU was inexplicable, especially given LSU.
Rebounding wise, yes Kentucky has length, but we did a poor job of boxing out in general, and Kentucky made us pay for it once our outside shots stopped falling.
Basically, we outplayed them early on, and then as our energy faded and shots stopped falling, we gave up wayyy too many second opportunities.
We have to win one more on the road and take care of business against Auburn to be solidly in the tournament.

And now the win against Blow U looks bad

an awful LSU team

They're ranked now, have had a much better season than us. We are inferior to them quality season wise point blank simple.

They've had two NIT teams in the past 10 years, not their worst season but definitely seems to be a weaker class. That Kentucky team is still tournament bound.
