I’d never deny a spot, but it’s getting full.

Leave HY and Sam the lifebuoy on board but cut the rope.

Maybe it'll be like the lake at Hot Springs.

I’m actually not out on HY. Inherited a dumpster fire. Got a coach to right the ship. It’s actually in a better spot, which makes this shite season suck so much.

He has shown he can make hard decisions, we will find out in 2 weeks from today if he has the balls to make the real hard decisions.

The next hire will make or break him here though.

HY ain't about paying the recruits what it takes to compete for top talent. He needs to go.

Our current players aren't getting any coaching but every week when I do the transfers update it shows how mid or below average our roster really is compared to the top teams and this years depth was better than the last two years.

If the plan is admin/collectives don't want to pay for top HS recruits and want to use the transfer portal so the players are forced to stay on the team after using the 1 time transfer you damn well better be able to scheme and coach during the games. How they don't understand using timeouts, penalty discipline, situational football, time and score, not kneeling the ball with time on the clock --- coaching malpractice.

I don’t know how the finances work, do we rob Peter to pay Paul?

Steal from Muss/DVH to get slightly mediocre with a shite coach?

You are far more plugged into the actual numbers than me, so I respect your opinion.

And that’s why I had hope for this year.

After Texas A&M last year, I knew who he was and I wasn't going to forgive him for it or make excuses. I was tired of hoping shitty coaches would figure it out. Liberty cemented any hope of believing he could do it.

Stop forgiving shitty coaches who insist on these ridiculous buyouts that would set any one of us for life. Like they deserve to be rewarded for crashing and burning. I never got my last $1,200 stimulus that I was "owed" from almost three years ago, and it's in some kind of limbo that's way too many bureaucratic hoops to jump through to be worth it. But football coaches deserve like 15 million dollars no questions asked for being so bad they get fired? We extended the buyout after Florida? Can you imagine getting a year's guaranteed severance for doing your job one time?

Sam Pittman isn't your friend, everyone. Stop acting like he's been there for you through all the hard times. He isn't hard done by if he gets the axe. He bought a lottery ticket and won, he and his family can rejoice.

You mean like Alex Jones who said there was an elite pedophile ring that the Clinton’s were involved with and nobody listened to him.

NCAA, SEC leaders head to Washington to talk NIL

Yurachek is part of a group of SEC leaders heading to the nation’s capital to discuss NIL. At the forefront of conversation is possible federal regulation, and the charge is being led by NCAA president Charlie Baker and SEC commissioner Greg Sankey.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban is also part of the delegation and is set to meet with Senate majority leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), according to Sports Illustrated.

And this is what you're basing that off of? As far as I've seen and read, Yurachek hasn't said he "doesn't want to pay the recruits what it takes to compete for top talent" and if you look, there's several SEC ADs, coaches, and administrators joined with Yurachek on this limiting NIL. Saban is also in the same group.

This whole talking point is much ado about nothing. An overreaction.

The entire premise is that players choosing to stay in college over going pro doesn't make any sense for the sports in question, and the reason they're staying is because of the boatloads of money they're making through NIL.

The group lobbying Washington is wanting to put limits on what a single player can make in order to divvy more of the NIL funds around to other players. That's why Saban and several other SEC ADs and coaches are involved, it'll be better for the programs as a whole.

Yurachek isn't stupid enough to shoot himself in the foot by leading some fight against NIL like you're making it out to be
