And I'm not blaming Mike for sitting him, Gafford's foul trouble has forced his hand.

But the impact Gafford has is obvious. He completely changes the game when he's out there.

We are a sweet sixteen caliber team without him, but there is potential for more if we can keep him on the court.

He has to understand that when you find yourself out of position, it's ok to give up an easy two instead of picking up a foul, outside of the final 4 minutes in the game.

Sure, as soon as he learns to not get in foul trouble every single time, he can get some more minutes.

Gafford is still one of the most talented players I've ever seen in a Hogs jersey.

He fouls because he is trying to throw every shot out of the gym. Lol. He will learn when to back off. It's just gonna take some time. When he gets it all under control he is going to help this team achieve greatness.

Yup,

And this isn't high school ball where he can jump at everything and get 15 blocks a game.

Just needs to be patient and play solid defense.

Has to learn and keep himself in there.

He has only played six games but his upside is off the charts. He will eventually get used to the flow of the college game and play more minutes without fouling.
