agree 100%. It’s why I’ve been saying for over a year the issue isn’t Pittman isles yuracuck.

I’ve been one of the few (and initial) Yurachek darksiders for years.

He’s a gutless coward who goes AWOL when times get tough (the entirety of the Morris era, present day) but is also a performative dipshit who’s front and center in every piece of Hogs+ content the minute we have any semblance of success.

He’s a failure of a leader who does nothing visionary (slow played NIL which led the disaster currently on our hands), does a poor job of hiring coaches, and can’t raise money.

He does nothing strategic and only focuses on the tactical.

The guy is a bottom 10 AD in the country. Period.

It's both.... a competent coach would be navigating these waters better than this ... so it's on the donors, the administration, HY and Sam.... they are ALL to blame in this mess.
I’m not saying sam is totally clear of blame, and a better coach would definitely handle the situation better, specifically because a better coach would’ve told Hunter to shut the frick up and play ball when nil was introduced, but most of the blame lies at hunters feet. We will never know if Sam’s recruiting prowess was enough to make him a decent head coach, because the only way you recruit kids today is $.

I’m hoping that this portal issue, is the hard medicine the university needed to move on from this awful situation in the athletic department.

Clearly they love to be embarrassed daily in real time. Anyone with a pulse could have seen what was coming but these idiots can’t get out of their own way.

Yes. He lied to Choate about not entering. He’s officially in it now.

I’d put good money on the fact the good players we’re losing isn’t to do with Pittman so much as it’s because of our administrations NIL failure.

So we're trending at roughly 25% of a class gone after 1 season, 50% gone after 2 seasons, 75% gone after 3 seasons

I'm curious how that compares to other SEC programs

We are so far from the original intent of intercollegiate athletics, and have been for some time, that I say let it burn.

This chaos is the transient response to a step change in which we have poles in the right half plane.

They don't care because the fans keep paying. I'm not worried about any of this because I quit spending money on the Razorback athletics. College football was amazing this year for casual viewership. Hogs met my expectations and I don't give a shite which mercenaries come and go from the team.

This isn't the cfb you grew up with. If you expect it to be, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

I would honestly prefer that it just become a minor league at this point. At least then you put together something with rules. Salary caps, standard multi-year contracts, etc. There’s nothing college about this anymore

Most of us have the ability to change jobs but with stipulations... there is a thing called a contract. That is what is going to have to happen. NIL and scholarships are going to have to have written timelines in them moving forward or the madness is going to get worse.

We now have more players in the portal than every D1 program.

Believe we’ve also been top 5 the last two years.
