Do we take Ed O as a positional coach once LSU fires him?

If they don't fire him for cause, Ed will never get another head coaching job, so he'll likely just pull a Bert or Les Miles and act like he's seeking employment and get his full payout, knowing full well he will never be hired.

Now, if they fire him for cause and don't pay his buyout, he will likely seek work as a positional coach/recruiter for someone. It would be nice to have him here, but I'd bet he'll go work for Sark at Texas.

His ego is too big to let him go back to being anything but a HC. Guy let that natty go straight to his head.

Not a chance. The LSU program is a disaster internally because of him.

Give him his old job as S&C coach.

While I agree but he does have great recruiting ties that we could use.

Nah, we probably tell him to go Eff himself.
If he is available and begging for a spot, we definitely find room, but I would assume he goes to the Nick Saban coaches Rehab.

He would 100% attempt a coup of the program.

no! I made this banger of a sail on Ed o and idk how it got no traction, but I stand by the statement. I do not want this affliction hurting the team.

I realize what is happening at lsu currently.Posted by russellvillehog   on 10/6/21 at 6:07 pm

Ed O won his natty. lived on the back of the Joe's, and his coordinators, and then after he won the big one.. the dude lost his fire. The joe culture there left in 2019. the team slogan went from "we comin, we comin and we ain't backin down" to "I'm gonna go home, and eat a ham sammich" and went from being tough, and playing good defense. to some bullshite about wearing sissy blue shirts, and being "rosy finch boyz" or whatever that gay arse shite means.

dude leaves his wife, and now his team is defined around homosexual sounding stuff. I think the verdict is O caught the gay, and he needs to go because it's infecting the whole team now

I dunno, football coaches are weird. Gene Chizik was the DC at North Carolina of all schools a few years after getting canned at Auburn.

Dennis Erickson is the weirdest of all cases. He’s a 2x NFL coach with 2 National Championship rings at Miami, and he was the RB coach at Utah just a few years ago.

No.

At least wait until the off season to fire up the “which LSU transfers should we go after?!?”

And we will then land 0.
