Musselman's stock is higher and trending better right now, for sure. But it's impossible to hire a bad coach when those two are your options.

there's quite a bit of difference in the $$$$$ for those 2 though.

I am stuck, I want both. I think Musselman may work out better. Dude has a true energy we have lacked for years. I can see he and Neighbors being great for our BB Programs. But Marshall would be a named hire that gets us mucho pub. quickly as well. Hmmm!

Give me Musselman over Marshall. Marshall has been on a downward slide the past few years.
Edit: I'd still be ecstatic with Marshall. I just think Musselman has alot more upside.

I have full faith that Musselman would be able to hit the ground running at high speed in recruiting. Like you said, he has a great energy about him. I think players will gravitate to that dude. I really hope it's Musselman.

Marshall would be fine too. I'd just have to see him pull in some recruits and I'd be fully on board there as well.

What? How is that even possible. He isn't recruiting the NBA players to play at Nevada.

Either way, I still think he's the better hire. JMO

His roster at Nevada was largely transfers, something about his largest high school class signed was 3 players all gone before they were sophomores and a HS player hadn't been signed the past two years.

If he isn't willing to fawn over HS kids, he isn't going to "hit the ground running" in recruiting in this state. Some big fish in a small pond who want their asses kissed every day errr love shown.

He doesn't sign them and they go elsewhere and you have backlash over even 4 years role players who go to Florida.
