Do you think this is because of where he is? Nevada? Or do you think this is just his model?

It's interesting. Does he not plan on attending high school games?

I still like the guy.

He is an NBA guy in college.

If he was to hire the right staff, he would be ok on the recruiting front. Two good assistant candidates for him would be to retain Thurman on the bench or in an administration role and bring back Mayberry. Mayberry mainly because he is a NBA guy as well having been a scout for decades now.

He will need to have an Arkansas guy on his staff as he's always coached on the west coast, he likely has zero understanding of what the Arkansas job actually is and what it requires from a HC.

That would be a damn dream come true to me personally if you could have Scotty and Mayberry as two of your assistants with that guy as head coach.

He is but has been at every level of basketball. He is a little different in the fact he paid some dues as an assistant in college first (unlike Avery). Trent's only good year at LSU had Musselman on the bench.
