Did we not prepare our offensive line for a road environment at all?

Texas did the same with our crowd. Now Georgia is doing it to us.

I don't get how anybody could possibly be surprised by this today.

Talen levels alone is astonishingly different...

Amount of time with the HC also makes a difference....

We are not anywhere close to the talent, coaching, development of GA/Bama.

I agreed but I thought we could keep it around the money line 17-20 point loss. I didn’t think we’d be getting beat by 4 scores after 1 half

Not saying anyone should be ok with the mistakes today but anyone who is shocked by this right now really wasn't paying attention.

Must more politically correct that I was about to say it!

Not running the ball was expected. Even getting ran on was somewhat expected. Losing big was expected. But false start after false start, blocked punts, muffed kickoff returns, dropped ints, is not because of Georgia. Those are self inflicted wounds. Georgia is no doubt a great football team but we aren’t doing ourselves any favors

Sure but this was also our first road game of the year in a very tough crowd. It is an issue that needs to be addressed but I'm not shocked by it.

I never viewed us as a top 10 team as well though. People will overact to this and think we suck but we are probably in that 20-25 range.

I see us as a 13-20 ranked team

But I believe we can compete against anyone in the country not named Georgia or alabama. How bad Georgia looked vs Clemson is the only thing that gave me hope this game, but clearly Georgia brought a new energy for this game

It's a confidence thing, too. The line has just been too jittery all day. They're terrified of Georgia's front.

Penalties are embarrassing but some of that is them trying to not get beaten where they're overmatched.

It's kinda a snowball effect out there. This was a terrible matchup for us. Hopefully it renews our focus for ole miss and auburn.

We have nearly as many yards in penalties (101) as total offense (105).

This kind of stuff won't change against elite teams like Bama, UGA, etc until we get guys that all look like Ty'Kiest Crawford on across the OLine.

Let's hope Pittman can really develop some of the younger guys.

All year long, and folks can check not just mine but quite a few other Hog posters history, we've been saying "we get too many stupid penalties". Well.. we had a game we would have lost anyway with how well Georgia is playing but we also got... too many stupid penalties. Including 3 on one play!

This is what the staff needs to concentrate on. Eliminate the D-U-M dumb penalties we get.
