Anyone else hearing that the series run by KJ was designed by and put in by Petrino? How did he gain access to the offense? Are practices completely closed still? If true no wonder they looked so excited. The oddest rumors floating around. I'd like to see Bobby back on the hill with a bunch of recruiters and a decent defensive coach. Could they be trying to force him on Chad as a quality control guy to get around the buyout? So Chad won't let go of the rope so nix Norvell and force Bobby on him? Sounds too good to be true.

I will admit, bringing him in as an offensive analyist would be a pretty badass and ballsy move. It'll never happen, but it's nice to daydream about it.

I’ve heard so many stupid rumors about Razorback football that I’ve probably forgotten more of them than I remember, but this one may be the dumbest of all. Gruden being spotted at Powerhouse may beat it though.

Arkansas has brought in quality control guys before who wound up as the head coach. I think another post said it was Ford? I have said before that I'd like to see Norvell hired with the idea that Bobby would be brought in simply to do QC for the offense as it pertains to being effective in the SEC. But the idea of bringing Bobby in to basically run off Chad and help him with his offense isn't that far fetched. I do get high. But wasn't when I posted the OP. Some strange rumors being floated.

It's not the QC part that's outrageous, it's the posts entirety that's out there.
And Petrino as a QC would be a nightmare, he'd sabotage anyone and everyone if he thought he could end up as HC.
A lot of you, not all, don't think shite through. BP needs to be as far away from this program as possible...and he can take Chard with him.

I disagree. I'd love to have Bobby back as the head coach. He's a proven winner. He had only one bad season. He can flat out coach QB's. I for one would love a heisman winning QB. This is why Arkansas will never be anything. Too many religious nuttjobs running off the really good coaches.

Dude, it has nothing... NOTHING to do with religion overall. C'mon now... Why must we resort to some pseudo argument bringing religion in this when it has everything to do with so much more.
And, I don't have a problem with CBP coming back in some capacity personally. But I sure understand why others do.
1. See Louisville heading down hill quick his last 2 years. His recruiting is atrocious.
2. It is his fault we are in this situation to begin with. His Harlot on a Harley stunt, lying, hiring her for a non qualified position where he was directly over her (in more ways than one) is highly illegal within state hiring guidelines and place the University in great legal jeopardy.
3. He is a scumbag who treated others with such disdain, not just players, but the basic employees as well, not to mention bowl directors and admins. I spoke to two different bowl directors directly
4. What parents want their kid to be coached by this man? Society is different, we need to be mindful of this in some ways.
5. as for religions, since you went there... He did all of this while attending church services in NW Arkansas.
