So why isn't Florida looking at him? Auburn? UCLA? Oklahoma State? Outside of 2 years with an absolutely stacked in state recruiting cycle what has he done as a head coach that screams I'm the answer?

Listen I loved me some Petrino. I went to every game home and away during 2010 and again in 2011 because I was so fired up. He doesn't have it anymore. All he had to do was figure out a way to win Auburn and Mississippi State and he would've been named head coach during that bye week. He failed, and then he has continued to fail since then. I don't really think asking to win 2 games was really too much to ask.

I'd rather Golesh than Petrino. Give me the 41 year old.

I wish they would hire dirken as DC, Hire Bobby as HC, keep our Oline coach, and bring up the NIL...

Is there some monetary value specifically for you if Bobby stays on for HC?

You seem hell bent on your support of him staying in some capacity that you can't seem to grasp there's better options

That’s what I don’t get. No disrespect to BP… but the experiment is over… didn’t work second time… but we got closure and can all move on. A lot of folks don’t get to go back and settle their demons… he did. I pray he’s thankful for that and changed by it.

At this point, I'm ready for the new hire and just move tf on.

Maybe Tay Tay plays out of his mind today and we beat Missou, all we can wish for at this point.

If he’s playing today for somebody, I hope he can still be fresh for the game against Mizzou tomorrow.

After losing to Navy 28-17 tonight, Memphis HC Ryan Silverfield moves to 12-20 against teams above .500.

Another season of no AAC title game appearance.

Silverfield should NOT and is NOT a legit candidate for any open P4 HC jobs. He is killing Memphis Football in front of our eyes, and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Pathetic.

Hunter will double his salary and give him a 25 million dollar buyout.

We are NO any of those teams. We are way down in the pecking order. If we were a SEC bowl choice, we would be the Indy bowl.

Petrino 3 years as i said with DC, Funds, etc... to not compete against LSU, OM, FL, UCLA, PENN ST, etal.

The "Russian Boar" better be good or we are so screwed.

You're telling me we're not looked at better than UCLA?

Yea... it definitely is starting to feel that way.

Hope for the best, expect the worst.

I 100% agree. If he doesn’t pan out, there’s a chance we could go 2-10 and 0-8 in the SEC. Hopefully it doesn’t get that bad!
