Are you on or off?
On for me.
On for me.

I'm still on it, but one foot is off.

Off because our O line has been the weakest position on the team for three years and he's not recruiting any good O linemen.

Ask me at this point next year.

Are you seriously defending Chad's O line recruiting?

Stop trolling, he hasn’t even signed his own class.

He signed his first class earlier this year. Worst class in the history of recruiting rankings. Chad should be addressing the O line a lot more aggressively, but he's signing a bunch of D linemen and receivers. 24 commits currently and 14 of them are D line or receiver.

Where was all this ANGER when POS FatBert was waddling around in flip flops and napping during film?

quote:The only thing I'm saying is that as a position group, QB performed worse than OL this year. There was a point in the season where there were people commending Fry for his work with this line. Is it the most talented group ever? Not at all, but they did put together some good performances in both run blocking and pass pro. Our QB's, on the other hand, were a massive dumpster fire all season. As bad as the WRs were, even when they did get open the QB didn't see them.

I'm pretty sure if you ask the coaching staff (or any unbiased observers forced to watch our games this season), the WRs performed worse than the OL also.
Oh look... a bunch of notable WR recruits are committed... and a shiny new TE!
People around Clemson still give Morris some credit to getting that program rolling... Dabo included.
No one at Wisconsin gave (or will give) Bert any frick-all credit whatsoever for anything accomplished while he was there... and they weren't sorry to see him go. NO ONE.
Wonder why that is.

Tulsa went 5-7 the year prior to Morris' hire. They went 10-3 and were ranked the year he was OC.
Clemson then made him tied as the highest paid assistant in college football at the time. Clemson was 6-7 the year prior. In Morris' tenure, these were Clemson's seasons: 10-4, 11-2, 11-2, 10-3.
It should be noted that Dabo had already been there for 3 years prior to Morris' arrival and his lowest loss total in a season had been 5 losses (7-6, 9-5, 6-7).
He then goes to 1-11 SMU and improves their win total every year he's there before coming here.
Anyone that thinks that he isn't a good coach is blind. Improvement and success have followed him everywhere.

Agreed the o line recruiting’s been shite. But the pool of 4 star OL is way smaller than that of wr’s, DL, etc. With the early signing period now you have to get on these guys early, as in beginning of their Jr year. Chad and co, didn’t have that luxury last year, but now do. Hence, we look to be in good shape to land some highly rated 2020 OL. If he doesn’t get any in next year’s class, then I’ll full on admit he can’t recruit OL and ill be off the Chadwagon

Kind a, sort a on... kind a, sort a off....
Man, what a crapshow it has been. If he can recruit this well continually, he would have to be a colossal failure as a HC to not win 8 in 2 years.

I'm disappointed by the season and some of the games we lost, but I'm definitely willing to give Chad time to succeed or fail with his own roster. So, on for now.

98th in sacks allowed and rushing offense. The point is our O line is terrible and the staff isn't addressing it. Not sure how the quarterbacks being slightly worse is a great point to make, as we only have one QB committed.
