Give him $1.75-$2M and call it a day...
As of 12/9 there were only 3 coordinators in the country making 2million. 1.75 would make him tied with Odom as the 6th highest paid in the country.
I’m sure the numbers will go up a little, but 1.75+ is still going to be top 10-15 in the country

Listening to a podcast and they said Kendall interviewed and shite the bed, but the Toledo HC wouldn’t come so they offered Kendall anyway.

Who knows, until he signs the new contract, I don’t know if anyone feels confident.

Seems weird he would interview for it if he didn’t want it… or he wanted leverage for a raise

It’s definitely leverage, plus you want to see what kind of offers are out there. Is the new coach going to be hands off and let you run your offense completely? Him being a Saban disciple probably not. He is an OL coach, so I would assume it would be about the same thing he is doing here.
The leverage for a raise thing is something we all need to get over, if you saw a job opening doing the exact same thing you currently do, do you not apply? At the least how would you know how much to charge for your skills even if you didn’t ever have plans for leaving?
A checker doesn’t just stay at Walmart for the love of blue vests.
Depending how this upcoming season goes, I could see him getting a head coaching job somewhere if he is just patient.

A guy in 247 that’s been verified by the staff as being a close family friend of Briles just posted that he’s staying. The deal on our side isn’t done yet but he is trusting Pittman to get it done and turned Miami down.

Briles is staying, per McMurphy and Chris Low

There's 4 or 5 posters on 247 that put out better information than about every Arkansas 'reporter' combined, especially when it comes to recruting.
