Just like how they blamed JCP for Morris when it's already been proved that she wanted Kiffin. Even our players = who are 1,000,000,000 times more dialed in than our media have stated this fact.

Leach is still available, if that is what we want... Is it?

Watch his first interview since the last game here...

Yeah people just think our oline looks bad in this league, wait until leach splits the linemen 3 yards apart from one another, that'll fix it.

Someone started a petition to ban Wally Hall from covering Razorback sports today. I don't like Wally but I think that's dumb. Petitions don't do shite and just b/c Wally is stupid doesn't mean he should be banned. If you don't like Wally or any other writer then simply quit buying their product.

A drop in ticket sales got a coach fired.

Why can't a drop in subscriptions get changes made in the media?

As they should. Like Trey said, Hunter got outmaneuvered by Ole Miss. Truth is it’s a better job right now.

I'd be happy with Leach if he was allowed enough money to hire the right assistants and to retain them, especially on defense. He definitely has the contacts within the coaching profession. From what I understand, Grinch left WSU because he was offered more money than WSU would allow. And these days, being able to hire top notch assistants (ones who will recruit) and being able to retain them plays a huge role in regard to being successful, especially in the SEC, regardless of the head coach.

Barry Switzer endorsed him. But with any coach, the U of A is going to have to fork over enough money to get the right assistants. And enough money to keep them.

Man, look, I don't know how many times I gotta say it, but Trey Biddy is a goddamn liar. He isn't ever right.

In fact, I think you could make a career in Vegas betting the opposite of what this guy says.

I have questioned it every single time someone brought his bullshite to this board. We should set a rule moving forward that Trey Biddy's info isn't allowed here. And I'm serious.

Jack Ruby, knock it off. Trey Biddy's information is less than useless and is most likely detrimental to the overall health of this board.

I'm sorry but it makes too much sense. We would have a guy right now if it wasn't.

Switzer endorsed Bert too, something about his wife meaning he could recruit and wouldn't have to worry about side pieces.

Pretty sure he love Morris for his huge Texas connections as well.

So.... Maybe not listen to Barry this time.

What?
Have you been paying attention? Biddy has been saying for days that it was anyone and everyone but Lane Kiffin. And now that it's not Lane Kiffin he says, "Lane Kiffin was the hire?"

At best he is telling you he is, in fact, a fricking liar.

Jesus Christ this guy is a fricking clown.

I get what your saying, I understand Long is a popular villan for a portion of the fanbase, but clue in kiffen who his masters will be isn't a big deal, if he can't handle that then it's best he not be here.

It isn't like his dad isn't very familiar with one of the biggest ones.

I'm not trying to defend Biddy but that's not true.

Really though I'm just talking about HY having his coach stolen out from under him. Like I said, if that wasn't the case we would have a coach right now.

He said that?

Well, I guess Barry got it half right re: Bielema. And Morris may have had the high school connections but that is only a fraction of that equation.

I still wouldn't be against giving Leach a shot if it came down to that. But it would have to be contingent upon him being able to get the right assistants. Otherwise...no way.

What I said has no bearing on what Long did here during his tenure. It’s what he was up to this week.

Hahaha. Nobody has ever liked Wally, but he's still there acting like he knows stuff and writing his stupid opinion pieces. When the Arkansas Democrat and the Arkansas Gazette merged, we got stuck with Wally.

maybe this is what’s wrong with our program. We’re a 2 weeks from early signing period with no coach after going 4-20 the last 2 seasons and y’all still want to make rules and contingencies for future coaches. Right now we should beg leach to come and tell him he can do whatever the hell he wants and every body else should keep their grubby little paws off

A sense of entitlement is at least part of it.

Not defending either Bert or Nutt but consider this.

most wanted Bert gone after an 8 win season that could have been 10 wins followed by a 7 win season that could have been 9.

Polling the average fan in 2014-2016 would yield, "he's winning games but he's not closing out the big games well enough"

We ran off Nutt because he missed bowl games in years 7 and 8 despite getting us back in years 9 and 10.

Polling the average fan in 2001 would have yielded, "I'm tired of going to the stupid Cotton bowl"

How many of y'all would take 7-8 wins a year with a bowl game now?

Everybody but that’s also because In 2001 and up until bert we beat Mississippi schools regularly. We would’ve beaten mizzou and tamu regularly most of those years. We hired 2 coaches (mainly chad but beer started it) who drove us straight into the ground. It was okay to be entitled 20 years ago. Today? Not so much
