As opposed to Hillary, who loves all people? Believe me, our best and brightest aren't heading to Washington no matter what side you agree with. Sad part is these politicians have been able to turn normal people against each other over party lines. I don't see how it ever gets better without getting worse first.

I never realized how left a lot of Arkansas is. One of the most liberal states in the south. I guess it’s from Clinton who knows. As someone else said all politicians are slimy shits. Trump and Hillary are both terrible people who have done terrible things so anyone picking any side because of “morality” is an idiot

No, sorry, the two parties aren't equivalent. Democrats actually want to advance social programs and don't nominate con artists as their nominee.
Again, though, I love the "but what about Hillary!!!!". Hillary lost, stop talking about her. This is all on Trump and the GOP.

Yep. That's why we have an exclusively two party system. It creates that "us vs them" dynamic that will keep people fighting among themselves while the folks in power can get away with whatever they want.
If there were 4 or 5 viable parties, then people might have to critically think about issues that have several solutions instead of being told by their side what their view is going to be.
But we can't have that. Then folks wouldn't be so easy to manipulate.

There is a problem with this thinking... In order to see how in the name of crap that we got into this situation, you must include the Clintons. As a nation we over reacted to the Clinton/Obama admins and their lack of decency towards the Christian right. The Christian right overall went all Hitleresque on not being respected at all and threw crap against the wall. Congrats, Trump.
It is a sad state of affairs all around. Borrowing from China to pay for our own affairs while we waste our time on meaningless gerrymandering and quagmires. and whoever above said "the best and brightest aren't going to Washington" is correct other than in a lobbying role.
