Surprised we didn’t empty the bench toward the end with it out of reach in an exhibition

My guess is Cal trying to get the guys who will get regular playing time used to being on the court with each other.

Billy Rich is going to be a fantastic player too by the end of the season. Crazy talent on the roster

Cal has said the guys on the roster outside of the players he recruits for his rotation are basically time thiefs. These guys are glorified walkons who he doesn't want stealing reps from the rotation and doesn't want to invest time and effort coaching players who are going to transfer for playing time anyway.

Sounds horrible in college when said out loud but is very smart on his part as you basically will have a new roster every year in basketball nowadays so no reason to help train the eventual future competition.

Apparently Thiero, Nelly, and Brazile hadn't been practicing. Have to imagine we'll improve as they get attuned to playing

It's the right way to do NIL and transfer portal era. Cal is just embracing managing the soft salary cap we've self imposed

Slobberin' Hog is back. Things just seem right. We looked good last night, but I wish Kansas had Dickinson in order to get a more complete picture.

I'm like Drewbie....I'm trying to stay grounded here, but man it looks like we are gonna be a big problem for other teams.

Big Z was tired, needed Aidoo on the court.

This. I like what I saw, but would have preferred to see how we did with both teams at full strength. Won't read much into the score as it was an exhibition and Self knows what he has much moreso than Cal does.

I didn't watch that close as I had the WS, Trump's interview with Rogan, and the Israel retaliations on Iran all playing simultaneously. Drinking beer and eating Tyson Razorback chicken nuggets while chugging my beers made for a good night. Felt like early '90's again.

Pretty cool to have a functioning PG and real pick and roll offense.

Pretty impressed with big Z.

Adams and Harris have been at Kansas for 8 years.

As a hog fan who has been burnt every time in every way… I am tepid. But that Kool Aid tasted good last night.

They played well for the first time they’ve played together in a game, and against a quality opponent.

Though we’ve had good talent the last few years, these players look to be a step or two above talent wise from what we’ve seen in a long time.

I liked their intensity on defense as well. At least I know we will be very competitive this year instead of a complete rebuild. Even though it is a complete rebuild..haha..
