LSU would had to win the tournament to get out of that dreaded 8/9 seed.

Something I didn’t think about and probably gives Muss some extra drive to win the tourney is his dad coached in Sarasota back in the 80’s.

He coached the Tampa Bay Thrillers in the CBA and lived in Sarasota for while.

Feel like we stone cold locked up a 4 seed today with a chance to squeeeeeak into a 3 if we win the whole thing. Definitely avoided the 5 with a win today though, that was starting to worry me a little bit.

With how the other tourneys have played out, a win over Kentucky Sunday could equal a last 2 or top 3.

I think we were pretty solid as a 4. I’m a little bummed not playing Auburn. I think a win tomorrow over Auburn would’ve given us a legit 3.

I hope getting to the finals gets us to the 3 line. History tells us that’s seeding is done before championship Sunday. So maybe a win tomorrow over a hot aTm gets us there.

If Arkansas wins it then I have no doubt Arkansas would be a 3 seed.

Winning the tourney doesn’t matter for seeding. Seeds are set by Sunday morning.

Unless your playing aggy or vandy in the final and lose, then the committee will have their way with you hard on seeding.

Think back to pels first year where he allowed uga to get in.

Lunardi moved Arkansas up from the last 4 in Gonzaga bracket to a 4 in the Baylor bracket.

Illinois and Providence both loss today, so Arkansas has the potential to move up to the top 4 or possibly a 3 with a win today.

He has Kentucky moving to the 1 line with a win on Sunday, it's possible for Arkansas to lock up a 3 or possible last 2 with a win on Sunday depending on how the rest of the games go today and tomorrow.

Regardless of what happens in the other leagues. I don’t see anyway we will be a 2. The committee really doesn’t value the conference tournaments that much.

This has as much to do with the possibility of us getting a 3 seed as us winning the tourney. We need all teams right above us to lose. Still might not move up even if that happens and we win it.

The only 3s left are tenner and Texas tech. They both play top 5 teams today and probably won't be punished for losing. Also if UCLA beats Arizona they'd also have an argument to move up to a 3.

Yeah, Auburn losing actually hurts us. We would have a much better chance of moving up if our path was LSU/AU/UK

Tenner losing to a Kentucky team Arkansas beat twice would certainly have them dropping to the 4 line. Arkansas tanner game tomorrow would have Arkansas switching spots with tenner if they won.

These 2-4 seed scenarios are sure more fun than bubble watches and NIT invite strategies.

You left out the annual 8/9 lock with UNC up next.

NET did not move again for Arkansas. Still sitting at #20, which is absolutely head scratching. Worse resumes in Texas, St. Marys, Houston, meanwhile are still rated ahead of Arkansas in the NET.

Someone said NET is not affected by postseason. Maybe that's why?
