Well you have Bert to thank for that. He kept the fat around and left is with a small class this year. It’s also just December so calm your melt and let our staff that has been on campus for a whole two weeks get to work.

It's probably gonna be a weak recruiting class due to the coaching change but regardless I think we're gonna be utilizing a lot of underutilized players on our current roster with Morris which I like to think will help compensate.
Also you gotta look at the average score cause a lot of those teams are only ahead of us cause they have more recruits not more talented tho. We're still getting quality recruits.

Those rankings take into account the number of commits, so we most likely aren't going to finish very high anyway.
More accurate is to look at the avg. (86.62) quality points (or whatever the hell it's call) of the recruits. We are way ahead of anybody on that page.

What if I told you a school's BOT/GOBN/PTB fired the AD in mid November and head coach in late November and waited twelve days in the middle of critical recruiting time to hire a new HC before the first early signing period December 20th.
Not to mention the current shape of our roster (lack of turnover) was going to always make this a smaller than usual sized class because more people are on scholarship than known and not many seniors.
They are already jumping on to 2019 and will use the next two months to the best they can in filling out the rest of the class after tomorrow. Less than two weeks doesn’t work in recruiting when people have had two to three years recruiting athletes.

Even if they essentially doubled the same number and level of recruits, Arkansas still finishes around 35...still a very weak class by Arkansas who has averaged about 26 for the last 6 or 7 years.
Bobby could overcome bottom third type recruiting (and actually proved to be an incredible finder of elite untapped, under the radar talent), but I guess we will see... I know Bert and BoT fricked us... But Morris has got to figure out how to get top 15-20 type classes.

Calm down chicken little. We’ll be fine, I’m sure this class is gonna be ranked pretty low but I bet we get at least a couple big time playmakers from it for the future. Next years class is gonna be the one to give us a more accurate read into it. If we can get 3-4 guys this class that start in 1-2yrs, then sign a #6-8 class in the SEC next year, we will start being a contender. I just really hope we get an all-star DC, because I’m afraid the defense is really gonna suffer from not having one through all of this .
