Don't forget part of the reason we had so much roster churn was Muss fixing the classes being upside down. He will always bring in a couple of transfers, thats his style, but I don't think we will see as much turnover after this year because now he's gotten the roster on the path of having a better spread across the classes.

By all accounts, didn't he hire Altman and White was the one who bungled that to hell?

Would have been a great hire.

Yes Frank did hire Altman. It was agreed that Altman would bring his academic staff to help with the problems with academics from the Heath era. But John White told him no.

Altman was pretty upset because Frank said yes and White said no. So I think since he couldn't bring his staff here and help with the academics then he had no reason to be here.

Altman should have been given what he needed here. No way a coach leaves like that unless something big happened. He was a solid coach and he would have been a lot better than Pelphrey. But they screwed up the most Arkansas way possible. It was all over the news, very embarrassing.

Frank did his job but John White screwed it and hired a search committee. So we hired our Chad Morris for basketball.

John White was the chancellor and interfered with athletics. Frank was pretty much neutered when John White was hired in the late 90s.

Starting to see what vision Muss has for this team. When they are clicking they will be pretty scary.

We lost our two best players from last year and another solid player in Jimmy Whitt.

We entered the year a team full of freshmen and transfers. It was obvious we just didn't have it together when we entered SEC play.

This team right now looks like an NCAA tournament team.

Moved up to 26 in the NET

LSU just became another Quad 1

@Texas A&M moved down to a Quad 3

Kentucky is one spot away from being a Quad 1

Decent chance that if we win against Florida and Kentucky wins. We are going into next weekend with 4 Quad 1 wins

On team rankings out tournament chances jumped up to 90 percent and most likely seed was 6

If we won 3/5 to finish out, could we go as high as 4 or would we need to win 4 or all 5?

Would love to be out of the 8/9 seed nightmare slot for once.

barttorvik (which is a great site to play around and see what type of scenarios you can create) says we would be a 3 seed if we won out including tournament.

A four seed would probably take winning 4 of 5 and making the championship game of the tournament.

The "safe" projection of winning 3 of 5 and winning at least one game in the tournament would put us as a high 6 seed.

We are about as close as you can be to sitting right in the middle of a 7 or 8 seed at the movement.

First page updated

Another Quad 1 win but Florida is now barely hanging on after we knocked them from 26 to 30. We are up one spot in the NET after the win, from 25 to 24.

Something to watch tonight, with a strong performance by Kentucky, they could become a Q1 win.

That would put us at 4-4 in the Q1 category was is really crazy considering where we were 2 weeks ago

One thing that has confused me about your list is why you only counted one of the Auburn wins when they beat them twice this season.

Are you asking why only one is considered a Quad 1?

The away win was a Q1 win and the home win was a Q2 win

Quadrant 1: Home 1-30; Neutral 1-50; Away 1-75.
Quadrant 2: Home 31-75; Neutral 51-100; Away 76-135

Auburn is currently sitting at 65 in the NET

Gotcha, so it's at the time played not a running total.

Interesting since the home win has been deemed more impressive due to their roster at the time.

Also good since the humans have way over valued mizzou compared to the computers/analytics.

Definitely need to finish strong to get above the 7/8 line although a six would see a Bracket with iowa as the 2 because Arkansas.

It adjusts with time. If Auburn somehow got into the top 30 Net (pretty much impossible) they would be considered a Q1 home win

Yes, Kenpom has been very harsh on Mizzou for awhile. Mizzou NET is really dragged down because of their efficiency numbers even before their last three losses.

They were close to winning by a significant margin but Kentucky didn't didn't move from 76 after escaping with a win

Updated on the front page

We are now 4-4 in Q1 games after Kentucky easily beat Tennessee on the road. The road win against Auburn is slowly heading towards a Q2 win though.

Only 10 teams ahead of us in the country in terms of Quad 1 wins/opportunities

Just about a week ago we only had one Quad 1 win
