Yeah, I really think Thomas and Richmond are not going to be hitting high enough to stay in draft if players like Peat are coming back. Plus, BRIII needs to polish his offensive game and Thomas needs a bit more strength and conditioning and I wonder if scouts want to see him without people focusing on Acuff next to him… But who knows. If we get Micah and those two - like you said, I’d be feeling about as good as I could.

Billy was always coming back. Never been near first round just getting his paperwork on what to work on for next year. He's first round in a lot of mocks for 2027. Thomas needs to return, too many saying early 2nd round.

Small hands, not super explosive for that size, just needs to prove he's a lights out scorer/shooter to get over the hump.
Sauces saying Cal's camp is actively pushing Maleek to come back which is unusual. They feel pretty confident he will but end of the day its up to him and he's a high confidence in himself type of dude.

Agree with both. Billy definitely should have always been expected to return and I think you nailed Meleek’s areas of improvement that he needs to focus on.

We’re Arkansas. Maleek will stay in the draft. See Scotty Thurman and every player we’ve hoped would come back only to see land in the 2nd round or undrafted since then.

Never said Thomas wouldn’t. Just said I don’t think he should. He didn’t open anyone’s eyes with any of the tests, sat out during scrimmage, and is unproven without playing next to Acuff, who is a legit lotto pick. It would be stupid to turn down about $3mil to come back and develop more. But yeah, if he does that, it would be very much classic Arkansas lore.

Whale…. Aren’t we supposedly offering Thomas 3mil to come back? If so, that’s about 1/3 or at least 1/6 more than the average 1st second rounder gets (according to a not at all scholarly quick google search). Seems like that would be a weird decision to go that late as a one and done. I get it with guys like Theiro last year, but I don’t see why Thomas wouldn’t think he can elevate his game and be considerably higher after next year unless something catastrophic happens or he really did just massively benefit bc of focus being on Acuff. Just my hot take.
