I previously thought that game was about 50-50 at best for a win because of the on-paper talent gap and being at Death Valley.... Buuuutttt with Ole Miss destroying LSU by 4 TDs in the 4th qtr, it is now clear that if Arkansas doesnt win that game, it will be a true upset and disappointment.

Ole Miss and Arkansas have equal talent, equal offenses and equal defenses that play basically the exact same scheme.

I don't think even home field for LSU can overcome such shitty coaching and leadership and effort.

I worry they make the change at QB to Nussmeier who will throw all over us....because we always struggle with backup QBs.

Currently looking at a team like LSU we don't see what it will be in 3 weeks time.

LSU has a bye like us next week and then play at Bama before hosting our game.

LSU has had some season ending injuries/guys opting out but more and more of the freshmen like Nussmeier will get reps over the next few weeks to improve.

Biggest keys I took away from the LSU/OM game:

1) LSU struggled to run/move the ball in the second half until Nussmeier.

2) OM was able to run the ball on LSU.

Our OL really needs to get rested and better in the trenches the last 4 games.

Didn't watch the game but it appears O has lost the team. If LSU is just going through the motions we will destroy them.

We need to start contacting some of their players. Our 2nd string is not good.

The freshmen angle actually might play into our defense this time around. The experienced guys tear us up sure. But we drive a younger QB mad. Look at corral year 1 to 2

I've had the LSU game marked as a win since our Texas win... Until we shite the bed last week.

I'm not sure if it's a culture of losing, inadequate coaching or lack of depth (it's not that), but there's absolutely no reason for us to have lost to Auburn... Ole Miss maybe but not Auburn

I am a novice, but from my experience this is a simple issue this year.

DEPTH.... THis isn't necessarily for you Cubs...

But we are really banged up and without adequate backups overall. Sam was here for a Covid year, and this one... that's it. And a new HC.

I don't think it is coaching overall, he knows what it takes to win.. Does he have the Moxie? I think so, but those two years arent enough to see imho

The Ole Miss loss was a lot more painful for the team than Georgia. Then the team played flat against Auburn. The early time took the crowd and exiting atmosphere out of the game.

Had they won. They would have been given a night game and the team would have beaten Auburn.

It’s amazing how that one two point conversion so drastically changed the course of our two seasons. I’ll never understand why Briles just didn’t give it to Sanders or KJ up the gut and continue to ride that hot hand.

It seems that some confusion was going on and Jefferson hesitated. But it was and still is the right call to go for two. Overtime should be avoided and Sam didn't need to go nine overtimes like Bert did.

Ole Miss will end up having a pretty good year while Arkansas is headed for a cold bowl game in December. Well at least in contention. That play was the turning point for both teams.

bullshite. We outplayed Ole Miss and Auburn. It's not a depth problem

The reason we lost to Auburn was no pass rush. Plain and simple. Its been our problem since the later years of Bert.

I honestly thought we had a good shot to beat Auburn this year, too. Kind of expected to. Didn't turn out, so not getting my hopes too high for LSU.

Except Nuss looks to throw the deep ball...so far we have not been good at protecting the deep ball.

Ole Miss we failed to execute a couple of times where we dropped interceptions or passes that would win the game. sailed a few balls as well from the qb position.

Auburn we got out coached

Turn overs, penalties and bullshite calls cost us those two games.

The turnovers and penalties shut down momentum and then Auburn got bailed out by some calls.
