All of that matters none that yet again an Arkansas team is dumb as a mother fricker and fail to win due to their own stupidity. Over and over and over. I feel bad for those that didn’t get to watch Scotty make that three.

100% truth. He can't help it. But I'm fricking done until we get change and not from within. We need new blood with a winning attitude. I want an a-hole head coach. Assholes win.

I see op changed the thread title, maybe he can come in here with the stats that matter this season, 1-4 vs LSU. 0-4 vs LSU in Omaha all time for DVH.
Highest seed team in Omaha.
Planned early exit in Hoover.
Zero extra games in regionals and super regionals play.
Willingness to give up games during SEC play down the stretch and not chase the regular season title.
Every reason for fatigue avoided.
Bats left in Fayetteville. Team makes mental mistakes "due to fatigue"
same ole same ole.

I do not remember Gonzaga shitting the bed in the worst ways possible. We lost tonight because of dumb players. We lost in 2018 because of dumb players.
Robinette was stupid but I think the runner would’ve been safe regardless.
No fricking excuse for aloy. Absolutely none. Just dumb.
Davalon… is what it is.
We’ll find the dumbest ways possible to lose.

Wash, rinse, repeat.
You're the guy who wanted Anderson retained in the basketball program. You're the guy who believes Debriyn put Arkansas baseball on the map, when in fact, the baseball issues in championship games started under Debriyn. Being undefeated in the CWS and shitting the bed against Fullerton in 1979.
Absent all baseball season, then showing up as expected like the squirts following a trip to Taco Bell.

2 games in a row where we just lost focus defensively in the 9th.

It’s like they cracked under the pressure and get the yips
Focused so hard on not cracking, not letting something like the Oregon State missed pop up happen, that they cracked and it happened.

We don’t deserve this as a fanbase.

Baseball does not care about fans.
I have been a Braves fan since I was a tiny dude sitting in my great grandmothers lap and watching WCW wrestling and the Braves on WTBS. The Braves did come out of the gutter and win a title in the 90's, but it should have been so much more than the one. I then endured winning an MLB record of division titles, only to come up short time and time again in the playoffs. Most recently, having the best team in MLB for the entire season just two years ago only to lose to the damn Phillies in our first series of the playoffs.
Any life long Cubs fans certainly had it worse than I did, from an MLB perspective. They literally had a fellow fan screw them out of a potential title years ago. Baseball is just so unexplainable. It is such a frustrating sport, yet we go back again and again for more pain.

I'm a lifelong Ranger fan.... you are correct... does not care about fans. Agonizing to watch, win or lose. Never thought Rangers would win a WS in my lifetime but they did so I'm still holding out hope that the Hogs break the curse at some point.

2018 was obviously terrible, but it was just one play then baseball happened. Last night was a domino effect of "wtf" eerily similar to 2003. I was sick to my stomach from the Robinett play onward.

In the "WTF just happened" way, I would agree... otherwise, I can always walk away from a player making an error and understand, it happens, all of the time, some just happen to be in the biggest moments.
Last night was different. Aloy's choice will never, ever make sense. That one hurts the most.
Robinette's choice hurts only because of the stupidity. I think 6 would've beat it out regardless and we'd call it bad luck, instead, we went pure stupid.
Davalon has been an adventure out there all season, so for him to misread line-drive right at him (as we all know, one of the hardest reads for an OF'r) is not surprising, it just sucks that he fell while recovering from the misread.
The choice to pitch to Jones will be debated, but he had struck out like 7 times against us up to that point. We fricked up throwing him a FB in the 8th. Pure stupidity.

Very perplexing. Aloy has been the most consistent, reliable SS we have had since Biggers. I still do not understand his decision unless he 100% thought there were two outs.

It was stupid and yea, maybe they don’t get the guy at first but he stays at first and doesn’t end up on second with the compounded bad throw to a racing freshman pitcher.

If Robinette does what he is supposed to do and goes directly to the bag they would have got him by at least two steps
