Hogs even up the series in Gainesville with a dominant 7-0 shutout. Hogs looking for a series win at Florida for the first time since 2013.

I missed the first few innings, without trying to sound like Pio, did gage wood start and how did he do. Thanks…

Yes and he was good. DVH relieved him after 3 or 4 innings(I think 3, but can't remember).

Gaeckel was shaky at times, but got out of several jams.

Luck was on our side today and I'm glad we were ready to take it.

He looked healthy and back to his nasty self. 98 on the fastball, spotting the curve well with a ton of movement. He was electric and damn near unhittable.

Pitch count so took him out after 3.

He is the x factor for this pitching staff going forward and could save the season as a dominant #2 starter we desperately need.

Looks like Iredale is starting to get back in a rhythm.

Which is huge because he's such a talent that was really struggling. We need his bat.

Yeah, Iredale has been giving me the blues. Maybe the other teams have figured out how to pitch to him and he is having trouble adjusting. But you can’t keep a hitter like him down too long, I hope.

It’s crazy how this team will have a big inning in a lot of games and many start with 2 outs. Two out rallies are killers, I’ve seen many at all levels…

I like Gibler, but with how good Carter and Foutch have been lately I would be tempted to go to them over Gibler even though they pitched Friday.

4.0 Beidelshies
2.0 Bybee
1.0 Carter
1.0 Foutch
Gibler if any of the preceding three need a quick yank
Close with Wiggins

Boy, it feels like a big piece of the narrative on this team for this season is gonna depend on the next 3.5 innings go

Probably losing another pitcher for the season frustrates me just as much as losing the series. Always a chance we can get hot in the postseason regardless of the seed but can’t just replace pitching talent.

Meh, getting Coil back soon is more important than losing Wiggins. Still don't appear to have enough arms regardless.

Wood
Root
Gaeckle
Jimenez
Coil
Foutch
Carter

That’s just about enough arms to make a run when they are all healthy and clicking, but no room for another injury or someone getting in a funk. I feel “ok” about Gibler, Bybee, McGuire… would be nice if at least two of those ended the season strong.

We have no #3 starter and every bullpen arm but McGuire gave up at least 1ER today. Starters can't go deep either, but we need 5+IP out of the bullpen every Fri Sat Sun right now.

Asking too much of the pen and feels like disaster waiting to happen in regionals again where some hot hitting team like TCU puts up 15 and wallops us.

Hopefully they turn it around but it's not looking good and my hope is diminishing rapidly.

Do we even host a regional at all if we lose out? 6 straight series losses surely sends us packing as a 2 seed.

Beidelschies Is fine on Sundays. DVH shite the bed this weekend. Using Jimmy with a 6 run lead yesterday was stupid and he pulled Beidelschies way too early. I won’t even get into the fact that he still plays Diggs
