On paper is this our most talented roster ever? I know we had some really high end players but I can remember having this much quality depth.

9. Wehiwa Aloy, SS (Sacramento State to Arkansas)
Aloy had a monster freshman season for Sac State and is now headed to Fayetteville to play with the Hogs for the 2024 season. Aloy was a great get for Reggie Christiansen out of high school, and his departure is the unfortunate nature of the transfer portal. He leaves behind a hole after the 6-foot-1, 195-pounder, hit .376 last season with 15 doubles, five triples, 14 homers and 46 RBIs, along with a 1.089 OPS.

Dietz checks plenty of boxes and has the makings of a future Friday night starter in the SEC and potential day one draft pick. He’s a tall, physical, lefthanded pitcher with little effort in his delivery, a starter’s pitch mix, and above-average control of his arsenal.

Dietz is an imposing figure on the mound at 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds, and his upside is just as big.
