I hope we do see Carter or Frank Friday that means we're probably up like 10 runs. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Would’ve preferred to be matched up with the AZ regional

Matchups could be better, could be worse. Opportunity to make Omaha is right there in front of us.
Solely dependent upon how we play. Not so much about who we are facing.

As per DVH’s custom, we will play the first game of the regional - 2PM Friday.

When do hog pen tickets go on sale?
Posted on 5/27/24 at 1:40 pm to Ronaldo Burgundiaz
Donors already got emails for all tickets. I would imagine it's all sold out.

Who are we thinking starts Friday? Obviously not Hagen but we're a question mark beyond that. Really don't want to use Molina either but you can't trust Tygart to throw strikes.

Yeah try to get him through 4-5 and hopefully have a good lead to not burn top bullpen arms.
But our offense vs a postseason teams ace there is no telling. Looks like it is lefty Haden Dow for them, not good stats and gets shelled often.

I think we've seen the last meaningful baseball from Tygart. He’s a low pressure late reliever in a blowout at best at this point.
I get the sense DVH doesn’t trust him at all (nor do I). His velocity has been down in recent starts and his command is nonexistent.
DVH talked in his most recent presser about how you can limit the damage of free baserunners in the regular season but postseason opponents will make you pay for them. The inference was there that he was tangentially referring to Tygart.

Just gonna leave this here. Stolen from tRant.
68th in walk percentage but still #1 in strikeout to walk ratio. Unreal.
I wonder what that looked like before the game where we walked like 13 people.

That was such a fun run.
Baseball was Chuck at his best, IMO.

In 2004 I was working over around Camden and was listening to the game against Wichita State on my way home. We had to win it and one more to go to Omaha. We were down I believe three runs top on the ninth with bases loaded and 2 outs and 2 strikes to Brady Toops. Grand slam! I almost tore the steering wheel off my truck. We held on to win 11-9 and won the next game and went to Omaha. Great moment.
This is the only video I could find of the sequence, things looked a little different…

State goes to Omaha and Nate keeps his job.
