Yeah, I think Tennessee, UGA, and Miss St are all pretty hot right now. Arkansas and Aggy are slumping. I'm undecided on Kentucky, but they were fine last weekend.

Yeah all schedule based really. State hadn't played a ranked team in over a month.

Auburn, Vandy, Bama for State before us.

Some were more back loaded and others weren't.

Offense has at least got us back into it down 3 headed to the 7th.

Any kind of pitching today.

Leaving Bybee in several batters too long hurt big time.

They may not even make the field right now. 11-15 in league play with Kentucky next weekend. They’re 4-14 against Q1 teams.

I'm not sure they’re deserving, either. RPI of 32, which is one spot below LSU.

They play well at home but cannot beat anyone on the road to save their lives. In looking at their home-road splits, they’re 3-10 on the road compared to 26-8 at home, coupled with a terrible non-conference schedule.

Right now both Vandy and Florida are 11-15 league play, and I’d rather see Florida in the tourney than Vandy.

What’s been up with our pitching the last 2 days? Guys seem unable to find the strike zone

I don’t mind seeing Wood get a shot at starting on a weekend but we still gotta have some semblance of something from either Tygart or Molina. With any luck, we’ll see it from Molina today. But he has had major command issues as of late as well so I’m not holding my breath.

I don’t guess I fully understand Tygart out of the bullpen. I can’t really say I want someone coming into a high leverage situation and not being able to have any type of command? Unless we just mean an innings eater after a game has already gotten away from us, then that makes sense to me.

It is just so incredibly unfortunate that both Tygart and McEntire have progressed to almost unusable at this point.

Sad that what once was our strength has now become our worst weakness heading into post season.

And this year, it can't be blamed on injuries.

Now we need the bats more than ever.

At this point I think Tygart is little more than a low pressure middle relief pitcher.

He’s too inconsistent to start, and his command issues are too persistent and pronounced to use in leverage situations.

This team is toast.

Hobbs has to get some serious heat for our entire pitching staff regressing majorly over the season.

DVH better shake up the rotation for A&M.

Tygart and Molina need their asses sent to the pen. I don't care who we start, but I'm tired of those two putting us behind the 8 ball in games 2 and 3.

Is it too early for me to make a “Projecting the 2025 Omahogs” thread?

There's the classic Diggs strikeout with RISP and 2 outs we've become accustomed to.

Takes the first pitch right down the chute.
Fouls off 2 straight.
Chases low and away for strike 3.
