The men’s Track team is currently ranked #1 so I fully expect Bucknam to now win a national title this season and save his job for another 10 years of mediocrity.

Sooooo where does this leave us with likely starters to begin the season? Smith, McEntire, Tygart?

Hunter Hollan will likely start in the College Baseball Showdown on Sunday. He was a Juco transfer and is already on a bunch of mock draft boards in the top 100, so he seems legit. Tygart will be needed in the pen.

That will give L/R/L starters for the weekend. Other guys could rise. Another name to look out is Jake Faherty. He seems like a Wiggins clone in a way.

Austin Ledbetter
Zach Morris
Cody Adcock (Another juco by way of Ole Miss)
Koty Frank (transfer from Nebraska)
Nick Griffin (if the light ever comes on for him)
Dylan Carter

Freshmen names to keep an eye on:

Josh Hyneman
Gage Wood
Cooper Dossett

Sounding like Johnny Bolt will be our starting SS for now. Much better defensively than Coll, even though Coll has the much better bat. Coll has been lighting it up in scrimmages.

Probably. Coll, Neville, Jones, and Rowland. Those are some good bats to come in relief. 2 righties, a lefty, and a switch hitter

LF - Wegner
CF - Josenberger
RF - Bohrofen
1B - Slavens
2B - Stovall
SS - Bolt
3B - Cali most likely
C - Polk
DH - Jones or Diggs

Ah yes. On another forum someone once asked if we believed that we could have visions of the future.

My reply was "If I could have visions of the future I wouldn't have become a fan of Arkansas sports." I love my Hogs and I'll follow them until I'm in my grave... but there are decades where I wish I had picked something like being kicked in the balls as a hobby instead.

Hey now, just because I know the ending doesn't mean I wrote the book.

I'm just going to tell myself he wasn't going to be able to find the zone again this year to make myself feel better.

In all actuality though, was probably setup for a Campbell revelation type year.

Next man up I guess.

I think he really was. It's his draft year. He had been working hard on his off speed stuff on the off season.
