Wes Johnson leaving LSU to go to Georgia.

For the HC gig. I get that.

I think LSU was unhappy with him.

Head coaching position vs pitching coach position, right? No brainer there and Georgia, with the right coach and some NIL can be a baseball power house. They just have to get the talent to stay home and go to college.

They've won a CWS without really caring about the baseball program.

About as good as Georgia could do, IMO. Glad we don't have to deal with him at LSU anymore.

Yes. I goofed up and didn't read the details. It's for the UGA HC gig. 100% understand that.

As far as lineup, I think Diggs and Stovall return. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose Jones and Neville to the portal.

Is there any legitimacy to them picking up our signs?

Just seems like an absurd amount of runs to give up.

Guess our pitching is just that bad. Full on batting practice.

As far as the BP, we lose Morris. Smith should be returning. Wood returns. Not sure about Tygart. Also, lose Frank and Wiggins. McEntire might leave. I wouldn't blame him before they abuse his arm next year. Carter will probably miss half of next season. Not sure about Coil, Foutch, Fitzpatrick and others like Bybee. Depends if they want to adventure the portal route.

Unless they are draft eligible sophs, then they will most definitely be back (short of Stoval xfering).

Same for Tygart

Gotta figure Wiggins could improve his value with a big sr season. Not sure he’s a lock to go early.

Wiggins will leave while he has the leverage. Pallette did the same thing. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I'm actually more excited about some of the players we finally "lose" after this season than the ones we may gain.
