Silver lining is Wegner getting his stroke back with a granny. Other than that today was pretty much worst case scenario. Extra innings plus we won so we're guaranteed to be playing a good bit more of tournament ball before getting to rest.

I don’t think it was worst case scenario in that sense that we also got to see Morris continue to look a lot better. And Mac for that matter.
And heck, we got 2 innings out of Adcock instead of his usual 1 inning

Well, we got something of an explanation on the bunt decision. Polk was sick and throwing up the night before and yesterday morning and had been on an IV, so we didn't really have a backup catcher. I was kinda wondering if something was up and why he didn't PH for Rowland because it didn't seem like the typical decision DVH would make to me.
