Both should feed off of each other.
In our case, our offense turns the ball over inside our own 20 in multiple games, which penalizes the defense. The defense also couldn't stop Missouri's final drive when the offense gave them the lead. All signs point toward poor leadership/culture, in my opinion.

How about calling a time out before half to work on a two minute drill? Or letting the backup QBs throw the ball? We had purpose behind action, which draws a stark difference from not knowing what to do.
