So how do we win the SEC and get 2nd seed in the tourney?
Also, the dropped foul ball/national championship and shitting the bed against NC state has pretty much ruined me on DVH... I'm in "I'll believe it when I see it" mode with him.

I just can't believe that folks bitch at the level of recruiting, and on the field success DVH has had and is having at Arkansas.
Coach of the year folks...

Yes, we all want a natty. But baseball is the most difficult of all of the sports to get it in imho. Football has it's bluebloods, etc. This we know. But in baseball it is so whimsical and crazy the turn of events that can cause a championship or not. What we have seen this years with the injuries, etc is nothing short of masterful. JHMO of course

Not to mention there isn’t a person in this thread who wishes Shaddy had caught the damn pop up more than DVH. Dave didn’t drop it. He had his team in a position to win and the team failed to execute on a (fairly) routine play. That’s not on DVH

The national championship in baseball is so arbitrary and cruel. If we had beaten Oregon State that would have just meant that the best team in the country didn’t win the tournament like almost every other year.

DVH is doing a great job but it is kinda crazy that we’ve never won an national championship.
Our fan support and facilities are top 3. DVH built that but it comes with expectations.

Making sure you get the out is not a bad play in the third inning with the bases loaded and no outs.
Having 1st and 2nd with one out twice in 3 innings without scoring is a much bigger problem. 6 runners stranded in 3 innings
